“Live to Tell” WoW Guild

Dear Potential Applicant,

Live to Tell is a mature, top of the server high-end raiding guild with a focus in end game raiding. We intend to clear and experience all raid encounters including hardmodes. Even if your class is listed as closed we are always on the lookout for exceptional players.

Our Raiding Schedule

We currently raid 25mans from Sunday through Thursday 20:00 - 24:00 gametime with invites starting at 19:30 gametime. Fridays and Saturdays are officially off nights but 10mans and older 25mans are usually done during these days. You are expected to be on time fully prepared with flasks, buff food and anything else that will boost your performance in a raid.

As an applicant and a raider you are required to attend 5 out of 5 raids per week maintaining relatively close to 100% overall attendance.During the raid you are expected to be up-to-date with the tactics and listen and obey to what the leaders say.

We use Ventrillo 3.0.0 (or newer version) and everyone attending the raid is expected to use this. A microphone is not needed but it would be best if you had one for better comunication.

Our Loot System

Our Loot System is Loot Council; we view loot as a tool to increase the guild's progress in downing the hard encounters. The council team decides who gets what item; if you are one that is very obssessed with loot we are not the right guild for you. The main focus of our guild is downing an encounter, we will do everything necessary to achieve our goal.

What We Are Looking For

Motivation: You are self-motivated to want to progress and down all encounters. You are willing to wipe and keep going and give it 120% every single try and simple want to see the boss die.

Self-Independence: You can take care of yourself and your character without having to be told what to do, being reminded constantly or without having to be checked upon. Your character can be thought of as a reflection upon yourself. You are fully prepared and have gotten every upgrade possible within your reach.

Gear: As stated your character can be thought of as a reflection upon yourself. Your gear shows us your knowledge of your class along with your spec. Having the best gear obtained possible outside of raiding is an indicator of your dedication to your character.

Dedication: We are a small group of people and try our have no intentions to over recruit. We expect you to be able to raid a minimum of four out of five nights from Sunday - Thursday. If you cannot meet this requirement or feel your real life commitments and distractions would make you unable to fulfill this recruitment then we simple are not the right guild for you.

Initiative: You go beyond and go that extra distance to enhance and further our guild along in raids and progression. You read tactics and find ways to improve our gameplay in order to down a new encounter. You are able to give and take constructive criticism and you are always striving to become a better player.

Skills and Quick Thinking: During encounters you possess the ability to adapt quickly. You are able to think for yourself and not need someone to tell you where to go and what to do. You are independant and are full capable of performing your job and beyond.

Personality and Teamwork: Live to Tell can be thought of as a family. We are a small, tight group who may fight from time to time but in the end we all know that we are on the same side. Although raiding is a very important factor of this guild it is not the only thing we do together. Getting to know fellow members and interacting with them provides a team style atmosphere of which we are after. Simply getting to know each other and helping others with heroics can be thought of as a team building activity.
