Keepers of Peace is an 18+ raiding guild that has been around on
Anachronos for many years now. Not only are we a long-standing
guild, but many of our members have been with KoP and playing WoW
since Vanilla, proving that we have found a good balance between
fun and progress.
So what sets us apart from most guilds?
No mandatory attendance
Whilst we are dedicated to raiding, most of us have jobs, families, lives and other commitments away from the computer; we believe and accept that 'real life' can be more important than playing a game sometimes. However, if you sign up to a raid, you are of course expected to show up and raid for the full duration.
Multiple raid sizes
As a Raiding guild that caters to many, we do both 25mans and 10mans during the week. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we have 25man raids, leaving 4 other days (as we don't raid on Saturdays) to do 10mans.
We are family
On one hand we are a raiding guild - on the other we like to hold on to that cosy, family feeling, where we have an active and friendly atmosphere - where all of us feel at home when we are online. This is a balance we work hard to actively maintain. We believe people should be coming to raids because they want to, not because they must, and this has worked pretty well for us because people enjoy the atmosphere they are in and stick around for many years.

We encourage all player to sign up for the 25mans, and recruits will be asked to be available on these nights primarily where possible. On other nights we organise 10man raids with two different teams, one which raids more nights than the other so people can choose to raid as much as they want.
So if you are an active, capable and friendly person who loves to raid on a regular basis - who is trying to find a balance between an active WoW life AND an active 'real life' - Keepers of Peace might just be the guild for you!
