“Dead Men Raiding” Guild

Recruitment needs are relatively light at the moment with just one spot to fill from a choice of ranged dps classes, but we're always interested in exceptional players who would fit into our highly sociable & successful raid group.

DMR is a social raiding guild that's serious about progressing as far as possible in within the limited hours we raid. We raid on Thursday, Sunday & Tuesday (3 nights per week) for a maximum of 3 hours per night.

The guild was founded on the principles of the Dead Men Walking (dMw) Gaming Community - respect, tactical teamwork and mature fun. We strive to provide our members with a mature, drama-free environment where everyone cares about making the guild the best it can be and having fun whilst playing the game.

The dMw gaming community was established in 1996, so we've been around even longer than WoW! We're a stable gaming community of friends all sharing a love of online gaming. When WoW stops the community will continue and you'll find us playing other online games together.

We like to raid but we still want to have a real life. We emphasise quality over quantity, both in terms of time spent raiding and in the way we deal with our members. A lot of our members are in full-time employment and/or have children, so we start our raids a little later than most guilds to allow time for people to get home, have dinner and prepare for our raids properly. Likewise we finish a little earlier than most to accommodate those who need to get up early next morning. If you want to raid for 5 hours per night, for 6 nights per week then this is not the guild for you. We feel that by not raiding excessively, we can remain fresh, enjoy each others company, obtain good raid progress and still have time for a real life, family & work.

We work on the principle that if you support us, we'll support you. So we currently provide feast food for all raids. We also allow raiding repair costs to be met by Guild Bank, so all you need to do is commit to turning up prepared with your knowledge of the encounters & supplied with your own buff pots.
