Guild on EU-Auchindoun!
*updated 15th January 2017

Guild Name: Defenders of Valor

Raid Times: 20:00 - 23:00
Raid Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thu

We are recruiting people for raid progress in Legion.

What we can offer is a friendly and mature raid atmosphere in a guild with quite some history in WoW and all of it's raids (DoV was founded at day 1 of WoW).
What we expect in return is, that people are prepared for raids tactic- and gearwise (enchanted and gemed etc).

If you are interested in making an application, please check out

or contact one of our officers ingame.

Our Background:
For those of you wondering who we are, we've been around since July 2003, when we founded a social Warcraft 3 clan. At day 1 of WoW, all our members migrated from that game and founded DoV on Al'Akir.

We've been full circle in terms of raiding. We started out leading a casual raid Alliance of 4 guilds in May 2005, quickly winding up solo and gradually getting more serious about raiding. We spent about 2 years in the top 0.5% worldwide, raiding 4-6 times a week, opening AQ gates with the help of other Alliance guilds, killing Kel'Thuzad before TBC, and Kil'Jaeden before 3.0.

At the end of TBC, we were in conflict with our social roots. Many active raiders wanted to be a world class guild and focus 100% on raiding. While they left to form the guild now known as <Technical Difficulties>, 5 years worth of retired members returned to help us to a more speedy recovery than we had ever dared hope for. We are now a somewhat casual raid guild, taking the content at our own pace. "Our own pace" has turned out to mean completing most of the hardest encounters in the game before new content is released though.

We had Dragon Soul HC and Ragnaros HC on farm at end of Cataclysm. In Pandaria we made it to 10/14 SoO HC and in WoD we had Archi HC on farm since October 2015.

Thanks for your time,
Goldnspirit
