Guild History:
The majority of the raiding roster has been together since WotLK on Aggramar-EU and then moved to Auchindoun-EU when MoP started, looking for a more active server.
We finished MoP killing Garrosh Heroic 10man 12th of June as the 4th 10man guild on Auchindoun.
In WoD we kept improving and are now server 2nd top 600 guild.
We consider ourselves a semi-hardcore raiding guild and we are looking forward to climb the ranks in Legion.

Guild Policy

We have a few simple requirements of our raiders which are the following:
1. High attendance
2. Talking and listening on Discord
3. Class optimization and boss knowledge
4. Progress raiding mentality
5. No lootwhoring

If you can't stand being benched on progress because your class is not good for certain fights this is not the guild for you.

1. You should generally be able to attend all of our 3 weekly raids every reset.

We start invites around 15 minutes before raid start, so if you want to increase your chances to get a raid spot be online on time.

If you are unable to attend a raid make sure you remember to decline calendar invite on the given date if you know beforehand. In situations were you find you have to skip a raid on the day, then make sure you reach out to an officer via in game chat or mailbox.

Failing to provide a reason for not attending and not contacting any officer can lead to a failed trial.

2. You have to be able to listen to Discord at all times when we are raiding, and you must be able to talk as well when it is required.

This one is not up for negotiation. We generally explain CDs, split groups, call out abilities that needs to be handled etc. and if you can't accept having to listen you don't belong in the raid.

You also have to have a microphone. We don't expect you to raidlead, but you sometimes have to be able to call out urgent abilities that needs attention here and now.

3. You are responsible for staying up to date on class information and boss tactics and for optimizing your character.

This means we expect you to know the benefits of your different talents, spells and glyphs and that you are aware of all the abilities of the boss we are currently progressing on relevant to your spec and preferably 3-4 bosses ahead.

We expect you to spend the gold needed to make the most of the gear you have with enchants and gems. It is also expected you have maxed out your professions.

4. You should have a mentality fit for progress raiding.

If you die in a fight or fail on a task on a progress fight always ask yourself "How can i make sure this doesn't happen again?". Noone is perfect and we all make mistakes, what is important is having a mentality where you strive to perform the best you possibly can while minimizing personal mistakes and that you have a hunger for progress.

Part of improving as a team and progressing also includes owning up to your mistakes and limitations. If you need help or need replacement on a certain task don't be too proud to speak up and explain the problem. Maybe you can switch with another class better suited for the task or perhaps another guildie can offer suggestions on how you can handle the issue yourself.

Lastly it helps alot having some patience and an ability to keep focused on the end goal. It's not always a load of fun logging on just to wipe 3 hours in a row, but that's a part of progression raiding and also part of what makes the kill feel like an actual achievement.

5. Don't be a lootwhore.

We are not expecting of you to not care about loot at all. Caring about loot is part of wanting to optimize your character to push yourself to do more. That said, guild progression will always be our main priority, with loot being a tool to achieve this progress. We are not interested in players causing unnecesarry drama and headaches over loot, potentially risking the guilds stability. If you can't grasp the guild isn't centered around maximizing your weekly loot then you need to find another guild.
