“Fifth Dawn” Guild

Fifth Dawn is a guild formed in June 2012 at the realm of Auchindoun, created by ex-hardcore raiders who have raided in several highend guilds in the world, but who have now decided to play at a more humane level, while still getting all content down. Therefor we now aim to have around 13 raiders in the guild for our team, who will participate in our 3 days weekly raid schedule. We play in a relaxed atmosphere where everyones opinion matter, and we value the social part of our guild high. While we only raid three times a week, we do want as much out of our time as possible, so the hours we spend raiding will be put to good use.

Raiding days:
Tuesday 19:30 - 23:30
Thursday 19:30 - 23:30
Sunday 19:30 - 23:30

Progress:
Tier 13: 8/8 HC
Tier 14: 16/16 HC
Tier 15: 13/13 HC
Tier 16: 11/14 HC

We expect:
You're able to make all three raiding days during the week. This meaning that you without any other important plans, will be able to raid any of the days
You've understanding for being set on standby for a boss or two
You've knowledge about all spec of your class, in case the spec becomes very useful
You're bringing your own consumables for every raid, not food though, as those are provided by the guild bank
You've Ventrilo 3.0 and a working microphone
You're patient and are willing to wipe for hours
You're not the yelling kind of person - The last thing we want during the raids is a bad mood
You're signing off on the forum everytime you can't make it to a raid
You're not too fixated on loot, prioritization of loot before the guild, isn't what we're looking for
You accept the fact that a trial period will last around 3-4 weeks. We may recruit others meanwhile that may take your spot if we find that person more suitable. Meaning: "Fight for your spot"

Loot Distribution:
We currently distribute our loot pieces through the use a loot council based on:

Wether healers, tanks or dps'ers benifits mosts of the piece while progressing.
Who the item will benefit most, compared with others that needs the items, Trade-off differences.
And of course, if you're trial- or raider-ranked. Raiders over trials.
