“Pathogen” Guild

First off a little bit of information about Pathogen.

Pathogen are an old and well established PvE guild that have been around since the days of Ragnaros & co back in the old world. During TBC we did quite well in terms of progress, got attuned to BT/MH before the attunements were removed, Illidan down 3.0 pre-nerf etc. Final progress for TBC was 3/6 SWP.

Pathogen is made up of a lot of 'older gentlemen' and our raiding times reflect this. Currently we raid 8pm-Midnight server time as a lot of our raiders have kids to attend to or wives to convince that spending a night raiding is a good use of their time - that sort of thing. Raid days are: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, Monday and sometimes Tuesday.

ICC 25 Heroic - 11/12 and working on Lich King heroic

What can you expect from us?

I was going to say a mature guild but thats not entirely true as a lot of us are big kids really. A sensible raiding guild then. We know there are more important things in life than WoW and we treat the game as just that, a game.

You can also expect a lot of mickey taking on ventrilo during a north vs south, paladins vs DK , or just everyone vs Wagster debate.

What do we expect from you?

We dont expect you to be a die hard raider. If you can raid every day of the week thats brilliant, if you can only make 3 raids thats also fine but realistically we do want you to be able to get to 3 of the 4 raids that we run.

We (well, I) also expect you to not slack when it comes to raiding. That means consumables. The long and short of it is that when other people are buffed up to max their raiding potential, frankly it is offensive if other people come along unbuffed and expect us to turn a blind eye.

Also I made mention before that we treat the game as a game, but that said we still expect you to focus when raiding. Dont stand in the fire, don't stand in the clouds on Yogg Saron, don't let defile grow to 100 yards on Lich King etc.

Please also make sure your gear is 'reasonable' for the content that we run, so please don't apply if you have several unenchanted blues for example.
Most important of all though is a sense of guild spirit. We would much prefer to recruit someone that we like over the worlds best player that is also a royal pain in the ass.
