With a firm start in Firelands, Tier 12 bosses fell easily enough, and though heroic modes were giving some trouble, the Manic Monday raid team evolved to meet the challenge head-on and ended the tier with all but heroic Ragnaros still standing, clocking in realm 18th. Sights are now set on Tier 13 and the Dragon Soul raid...

We strive to play in a relaxed environment, while still always trying to improve.

While we do not raid often compared to more 'hardcore' guilds, we wish to make the most of the little time we have each week to progress through raid content. Signing up for raids, being online on time for raid start, being geared, gemmed and enchanted, being repaired and stocked on consumables, and knowing your class and the fights ahead are not optional: these things are essential to the success of the raid group. During the raids, there is a high level of focus and a drive to get things done.

That is not to say that we run a strict regime where fun is outlawed. World of Warcraft is a game, and whilst organization and focus are required to meet our goals of guild progress and the improvement of our characters, we should never lose sight of a game's most important goal: we're all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Both in- and outside of the raid portals, we joke around and enjoy ourselves, as long as it does not interfere with the fights.

Loot is always welcome, but not the focus of Manic Monday raids. Killing a new boss, a new heroic, or earning a new achievement are the biggest rewards, where our skills, practice and teamwork pay off. That shiny new epic? Bonus.

Manic Monday has two (three during progress) main raid nights per week, being:
•Wednesdays, 22:00 through 01:00 server time
•Mondays, 21:00 through 01:00 server time

Sometimes additional raid nights are planned for Tuesdays or Thursdays. These will commonly be from 22:00 onwards.

Communication during raids happens mainly through Mumble, and use of this software is required for raid participation. The language used for guild communication is English.
