“Wardens of Darkness” Guild

Wardens of Darkness is a PvP/PvE guild on Alliance side in DefiasBrotherhood-EU.
Started as a friend's guild and slowly but steadily developed into a full raiding guild. Since Wotlk entered our gaming life, we decided to became an active raiding and pvping guild since lots of our members are active in both gaming aspects of the game.

Sadly the game changes and the personal life of our key members and roster stopped our existence, and we all went through separated ways.

After two years our core is all back together trying to reach its former glory in all the aspects and meanings.

Currently our guild is working on gearing and getting ready its members towards the new patch.

What to expect from Wardens of Darkness:
PvP/Raids. We focus on both ends of the game lots of PvP action and the usual raids.
End-game raiding. Since it's new content is soon to be released we might only be doing Normal and Heroic mode until we build a sufficient raiding core to advance to Mythic. Our goal is to clear all PvE raids and of course advance as far as possible in PvP brackets.
Assistance. We will help you with your class in terms of theorycraft and gearing as long as it doesn't hinder our progression.
Social Environment. Always in a polite manner and respecting the well being of each other, either in progress or in legacy and fun mode we never stop making our members feel like home.
Good Behavior is a must as well as common courtesy.


What NOT to expect from Wardens of Darkness:
Free loot. While it sounds lame and corny, it never fail to amaze us the number of people joining a guild and their first question is "Can I have this?".
Drama. If you like drama, or you are a drama-queen and for some reason you entered the guild, expect to be kicked. While we can tolerate some action in guild-chat, mostly for stress relieve, or for fun, drama-like actions will without a doubt result in a termination from our guild.

Democracy. We won't be tyrants, but we won't be diplomats also. We have a leader, officers and the like. When you are in raid or in rated-BGs, we expect you to listen and comply.

What it wont be tolerated by Wardens of Darkness:
Unappropriated Behavior. Always respect your guildmates. We are not the kind of guild that we ll tolerate offenses to our core team or neither our trials. Everyone has a place on the game. No one knows everything or born a pro. Respect is above Progress and Loot.
Q-Q About Loot. Get over it, its not yours. Next time
Not in time when Calendar entry. 15 minutes prior starting time you must be logged on and ready. Of course when a significant reason occurs we ll understand. Real life is prio here, not our toons.

If you have a different opinion, feel free to argue, but with supporting evidence or a reason why you feel something is wrong or should not be done in the way we say. We always listen to new ideas but as long as they are sound and logical.

Raiding

We do not force our raiders to treat WoW as a full-time job.
Raids usually take place from 20:00 to 23:00 game time
Two days per week and maybe a third will be added depending the progress.
We use teamspeak 3 server. We expect all members to use it also (mic compulsory)
We expect members to have the necessary raiding addons installed (more info on raiding forum)
Repairs will be covered by guild.
We use strictly personal loot and appropriate rules about BoE gear.

PvP

One to two days of the week will be for rated-BGs
Arena teams in all brackets.

Trial Period

Trial period can take up to 2 weeks depending on the raids or other events you participate with the guild. Be Godlike and expect to be elevated in the same day.
During trial period you will not be entitled to roll/ask for BoE gear. In case the drop is not needed by anyone it may land on you though.
In case you joined the guild for PvE you will be evaluated on your abilities in PvE, same applies for PvP.During this period, we evaluate trial raiders based on their attitude, attendance, skill level, situational awareness with the guild as a unity While we expect you to have the minimum required gear for PvE, the most important aspect we are looking for is how well you play your character. We are goal-based guild. We are happy with guild progress, not individual accomplishments.


Requirements:
1. 18+ years old.
2. Teamspeak & working mic.
3. Extensive raiding experience, high skill level, extensive knowledge of raiding and class mechanics, high raid awareness.
4. Able to maintain a 80% raid attendance.
5. Research every boss fight BEFORE stepping foot into it. Boss strategies will be posted in our member forums.
6. We expect you to be a member of our guild. We don't expect you to spend all of your time on WoW. That's not what we are about. However, checking the guild website regularly is required, and we would prefer you make an effort to get to know your fellow guildies. The closer we are with each other, the better team we will be.
