About Gaudium:
Gaudium has been on Doomhammer since March 2009, and was formed by a group of dedicated raiders to become an acknowledged guild on Doomhammer that could compete amongst the top guilds on our realm. We search for skilled, experienced and dedicated people that knows what hard work is to further achieve our goal. Most of our members also quite enjoy PvP, and are active in both arenas and battlegrounds. We have a rigid core of skilled and dedicated players with varying experience, such as world top speedkills in vanilla and from world top10 guilds through TBC. Icecrown normal is cleared, and The Lich King heroic mode is right around the corner on 25 man. We're already passed the corner in 10 man heroic mode, and picked up a few frostwyrms along the way!
We currently raid 3 days per week from 18:45 - 23:00, on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. We do 10-mans on Whatever off-day that's available, but usualy on friday and/or monday
The average age in Gaudium is rougly in the neighbourhood of 21-25 years, with most of the players attending school or working.

What do we expect from our members?
You should be on time, always. When we raid, we expect everyone to meet up on schedule. As raidleaders and officers we respect the time and effort put forward by our members, and we will be responsible in our use of this time. We expect you to have the same respect and responsibility for the time of our members and not let it go to waste.

You should always look to improve yourself, and constructive critisicm must be expected. You do not however need to be particularly "thick skinned" or accept rude or foul language, as seen with many other guilds. We strive to maintain a positive atmosphere within the guild, and while chat and ventrilo may indeed contain R-rated content, it shouldn't be offensive in any way.
On the other hand you need to be patient and focused, even during the late hours. We expect every Gaudium member to be mature and intelligent, and to be able to express themselves in an intelligent manner, no matter the circumstances.

And finally, I shouldn't really need to mention this but, we expect you to bring your own collection of consumables and knowledge about the encounters we're working on. There, I said it!
