“Dont touch that Cactus” Guild

Who are we?
Don’t Touch That Cactus are an established guild on Draenor seeking players to bolster our roster for Heroic and Mythic progression through The Nighthold. Having taken a break after Emerald Nightmare (4/7 Mythic), we’re slightly behind the curve. Our main intention from this tier is to form a cohesive, reliable and fun group of 20 players for Mythic moving forward into Tomb of Sargeras.

What can we offer you?
A progressive raiding environment whilst still not losing sight of the fact that we’re here to have fun. Discord during raids is kept clear as is necessary throughout raiding – but we still have fun during down time between bosses.
If you enjoy M+ and sitting on Discord talking shit outside of raids, from a social perspective this is the guild for you. There is a lot of good natured piss taking, so if you’re the sort of person who is easily offended we’re not the guild for you.

We have two set raid days per week – Wednesday and Sunday, 19:45 – 23:00. Thursdays are typically optional/ alt raids at the moment.
What do we expect of you?
Whilst we only hold a two day raid schedule and have a good social environment, we still have high expectations of our raiders – in fact, more so due to the reduced schedule. Our core is formed of players who have been at the pointy end of progression for several tiers, and as such there are basic expectations:
A good understanding of your class. Item level is typically a poor indication of player skill, especially with Legion, so we are more than happy to consider players who can provide us solid logs (brackets) irrespective of their current gear. If you can’t be arsed to even go into normal and get us a relevant log, we’re probably not going to consider your application. Logs from previous tiers are of course a bonus.

Preparation for raiding – this means flasks, food, potions and an understanding of tactics. We don’t expect a photographic memory or autistic levels of execution off the bat, but you should have some idea of the encounters we are progressing on ahead of the first pull.
Reliability, a sense of humour, and a real interest in improving and trying to play as well as possible within our limited schedule.
