“Forgot to Wipe” WoW Guild

General info

Forgot to Wipe is a result of top players from Dark Company and Escapades merging to form a better raid team and push for higher server ranks. The team formed two weeks into MoP and have been pushing forward with good progress since!

We are all dedicated gamers who spend most of our spare time online, doing achievements and having fun together, at a high standard. We have a good social atmosphere in the guild also with players running HC's, dailies, alt raids, achievement runs and PvP together.

Due to the late merge we were 2 weeks of progress behind everyone else in T14, so considering that I don't think we finished out T14 in a bad position.

Our aims are to clear all Heroic content while it's current and have been doing so since our formation at the start of MoP!

Monday 20.00 - 23.30

Thursday 20.00 - 23.30

*Please note,we may extend our raids by 30 minutes or use Tuesday as an extra raiding day if we are close to a boss kill*

Roster and loot distribution

We aim to keep a tight roster so everyone gets to raid at some point. However being a 10man HC progression guild, it can be hard to run with a strict 10 player roster constantly and not miss raid nights due to real life and other unexpected issues, and also having an extra few raiders allows some raiders to take a night off from raiding if its really necessary. For these reasons we tend to have about 13-14 raiders in the team and rotate based on who needs gear from what bosses on farm and which classes are the best option for first heroic boss kills + progression.

Loot council is used to distribute loot. Attendance, attitude and performance are vital factors as well as your current item level, of course, when it comes to deciding who gets loot. We want to keep this system as fair as possible so raiders are also allowed to give their opinions when discussing loot. Most of us are not purple horny monsters and will in most cases pass on items for others who get a better upgrade out of them.

What we require from our raiders and new trials

> 100% Attendance (or close to as possible), even if you are not raiding that night you are required to log on and show you were available during your trial.
> As well as attending the raiding times, we don't want players who just log for raids then off straight away! Players who get involved with their guild members outside of raiding will fit in well here, we want social raiders who want to mingle with their own raid team! Fitting in is very important to us. If you can't take jokes then this is not the place for you :).
> We would wish for players that want to apply to have similar raiding experiences and backgrounds to that of the raiding team as we won't carry anyone through raids or be expected to teach players how to play their class/role.
> RaidCall is a must! It is what we use for communication during our raids. We expect applicants to have a working mic and be vocal during raiding! If you are shy and don't communicate well during raiding then this is not the place for you. You have to be able to speak up!
> A mature attitude is expected as we are all adults. (By adults I don't mean we are a bunch of old dry sh*tes who moan about the weather :), we do enjoy the laugh and giggles during raids but have to put our raiding faces on when it is needed).
> The ability to think for yourself and adapt well in a raiding environment, i.e we won't spoon feed tactics or class specific things to a player for progression. If there are special tactics YOUR class can do on a fight, YOU should research for this and be expected to know and not have a player from another role babysit you.
> You must have a good personal knowledge of your own class and the ability to keep up to date with any changes that happen.
> If you like to jump in fire and continuously make the same mistake thats killing you and costing us combat resses or wiping us during progress you will be replaced! If your damage/healing is not enough for the progression you will also be removed, we will not wipe on enrages due to low damage or die endlessly due to lack of effective healing.
> Having well geared alts that you are skilled on is also a bonus as some fights may require certain roles/classes that may benefit the raid team on Heroic Progression and instead of being swapped out for another player, your raiding alt may be beneficial.
