"Grom Hellscream gave his life in a final blow to the scourge to save the Horde and his former apprentice Thrall from certain doom. He knew Thrall was able to lead his beloved horde and fulfill his epic destiny. In the last few moments before his death, when Thrall held him in his arms, he told Thrall of an elite group of people who were his most trusted and loyal followers: Grom's Elite guard.
This group stood their ground against all odds with overpowering might and honor. They were built for the kill, skilled to the max and ready to fulfill any task Grom laid before them.
Desillusioned after their great leaders' death, Grom's elite forces scattered around Azeroth, each finding a new purpose in life. Some pledged their allegiance to another leader, some disappeared in the Maelstrom, others became outcasts, mercenaries fighting for gold.
It was all untill one day Ancient scrolls were uncovered in the ruins of Lordaeron. The scrolls told an epic tale of a group of people who set out on a journey to conquer the world. They were lead by one man and his group of loyal followers.
The news about this mysterious person spread fast and It was not long after untill Grom's scrattered elite forces knew where their true allegiance was.
