Guild Profile
Primary Language: English
Recruiting:
| druid (Balance) |
We are currently looking for:
a boomkin (:P) druid
Quietly Confident is a raiding guild with exceptionally high expectations of itself. We have been among the top bracket of guilds on our server and on PvE realms throughout The Burning Crusade and Wrath, even with kills going back to MC! To continue this and push even further we require people to be motivated and intelligent enough to support our efforts and become a part of it.
We have high standards in Quietly Confident and we expect them of our members. What this means is that we expect applicants and members to always come prepared with consumables, repair money, a good attitude, and a very high raid attendance. We expect applicants to perform, accept criticism, and show initiative in improving on any of your weaknesses—whether it be DPS, healing output, or a particular encounter. Only people in the best gear available shall be considered and we expect this gear to be enchanted and gemmed correctly.
Quietly Confident raids 5 days a week during progression with days off whenever content has been cleared. We expect all our members to attain 80% attendance and beyond with most of our core being full time. Anything less than this is strictly not acceptable; while we understand problems and holidays members may have, their attitude toward attendance should be crucial in any decision. Regardless what members say they can make, the end result will determine how long they stay with us. Slackers and casuals need not apply. We also during times of busy progress (On patch releases and when on newer and harder encounters such as M'uru and hard-modes) expect people to make an effort and extend raids. These are not mandatory, however those who show the will and dedication to push an extra hour or two past raids or make a raid happen on an off-day will be preferred. Our current schedule is the following:-
All times are server/CET
Monday-Thursday: 19:30 to 24:00
Friday: Off
Saturday: Off
Sunday: 19:30 to 24:00
These are our expectations. This is what we measure our own members (From peons to officers and GM) against and every single member of Quietly Confident must possess.
* You should be able to maintain almost perfect raid attendance at all times. This will be especially assessed during your trial period. Anything less than 80% is totally unacceptable. Holidays and emergencies are exceptions naturally, however always within reason. If you fall foul to illness or need long and extended times off for real life, expect to be demoted or kicked. This is nothing personal and you should be able to understand that.
* You should be able to understand and clearly communicate anything which may need to be said. This goes for assignments and tactics during raids as well as communicating with your fellow raiders. We don't expect to have to tell you anything twice. This doesn't mean asking questions every few minutes either, we're not here to teach anyone.
* Being loud, uncooperative or making mistakes will be noticed and will severely infract your chances of making past the trial. You should be at your best at all times and show us how good you can be. This is both socially in raids and in the guild as well as how you perform as a player and adapt to anything.
* You should never be making elementary mistakes. During progression, we will expect some degree of learning on bosses. However, repeating mistakes and not learning from them is not tolerated. You need to be able to learn quickly and take instructions well. Being in denial about your own errors isn't a good way to go.
* You are here to show us how good you are. This is not a chance to gear up, learn how to do boss encounters or fill up some boring afternoons. You should be exactly what we want from the start; nothing less. The slightest sign that you are here for your personal gain will result in you being kicked. We owe you nothing when you're on your trial, it's all down to you to show us what you're made of.
* As a member of Quietly Confident you should be an example to applicants. We wont be fond of people who continually act stupid or immature. While we have fun in our raids and it's a big reason we stay together; knowing when to make a joke and when not is crucial. We don't want to hear everyone especially not at once. We expect maturity and dedication during progression and a light easy atmosphere during farm. We never settle for nothing more than 100% on either of those, however.
We continually assess our raiders. If we feel any major issues come up with any person in the guild then they will be tackled. This may be anything from attentiveness in raids, your attendance, your overall skill in encounters or a number of other things we expect from everyone outlined above. If we feel the problem is a serious one then you will be approached about it and made aware that it's something which needs work. If no sign of improvement is made, we will take more drastic action and you may find yourself without a raid spot. Please note that we aren't in the habit of kicking people for no reason or keeping secrets. Officers will discuss necessary things in private and in a constructive manner. We expect our raiders to show the same courtesy and commitment to remedy these things.
If you're still reading this far then Quietly Confident is maybe the place for you. Please fill out the application form with care and due diligence. A well made application is the first sign of a good raider. If you can't fill out a simple form with clear English, you probably can't follow complex raiding strategies.
If you have any questions then please note them in your application. You can always message Vinck/Niletta/Vomie/Wiski in game or via the forums for any additional help or information.
We will update our recruitment status when we have spots open, and if you have found us here, please go to our site and check out the applications form and put it in, if you think you have what it takes to be in our guild.
Thank you for your interest and good luck.
