“Heofon” Guild

Heofon was formed in fall 2010 by several talented and experienced people who all shared the same passion in this game - raiding. The original group has gone through several changes and setups over the months and has seen its raiding roster fill up with more and more members that share the set of ideas that went into forming of the guild. Having had its bright and bleak periods, Heofon has established itself as the realm's current fourth best active guild with 6/7 heroic bosses killed in T12 content. Now the guild is looking for more quality members to perform even better - we aim to break into realm's top 3. You can become a part of this plan.

What do we expect from you?

An aware raider is a good raider. If through your travels around Azeroth you have arrived at the realisation that standing around in fire is no good, we already have something in common. We are looking for people with good situational awareness and a knack for staying alive throughout the encounter. If this is one of the cornerstones of your gameplay, read on!

An educated raider is a good raider. As a rule of thumb, you must be prepared for the encounter we decide to go up against. The officers are fair and give you ample time to prepare before the next progress raid - read tactics, watch videos, do voodoo, anything you might find helpful to beat the next challenge. Consequently, we frown upon ignorance and do not tolerate laziness for very long.

The third expectation that we find very important is love for raiding and playing as a team. This is what we play for, this is our hobby. We do not expect anyone to turn up to feel like it is a chore they are doing 3 nights a week, 4 hours a night. We raid to have fun and challenge our ability to work as a team, whatever the opposition.

What can you expect from us?

A light-hearted raiding atmosphere with plenty of great people in and around the raiding team. We perform to the best of our ability, strive to improve and excel at what we do while having a blast on Ventrilo or Skype. Heofon will never feel like a boot camp ruled by an iron fisted general; we're all friends here and every opinion is considered and discussed.

A fair loot council. The shiny purples are distributed via a loot council scheme, consisting of three officers and so far
has caused no drama whatsoever. We all understand that loot is not the focus of WoW and thus treat it as a tool, not a goal.

Effiecient raiding. Since we only raid 12 hours a week, we try to make the most out of that time. Our raids start and end on time, and we try to have as little downtime as possible. In Heofon you can expect to raid, not jump in front of a boss endlessly.
