“Cold Blooded” Guild

Recruitment information:


· Cold Blooded is recruiting more exceptional and experienced players to join our 10 man team, even if your class is not "needed" we still take exceptional players.

· Presently Cold Blooded is a 10 man heroic orientated guild, placing emphasis on quality of raids over quantity. Whilst we may aim to raid up to a maximum of 4 nights per week, in reality, few of our current members will actually attend all of the aforementioned. As such we have no particular raiding schedule requirements though we would obviously expect you to be extremely interested in raiding and be generally available to do so.

· During raids, in order to maintain the aforementioned quality standards, we expect our players to know their classes inside out. Often, we’ll call upon people to play multiple specs within a single raid and as such it’s important to us that you’re confident in doing so. Similarly, maximising your output potential is important, but equally as important is your general raiding prowess and, of course, your ability to avoid fire. The usual consumable, gemming and enchanting requirements also apply.

· Raiding is intended to be fun, and as such we always endeavour to maintain a light hearted raid atmosphere. The majority of our members have played together or known each other for several years now and as such it is important to us to include all members in any guild related discussions or alterations. Within the guild we have no defined rank structure and operate a free for all guild bank policy which, contrary to belief, is far from abused – in fact quite the opposite.



The Recruit:

· A potential recruit has to be punctual and independent enough to have a very high raid attendance. This is especially important for progression raids. The recruit has to be competitive and always trying to improve his game. We are looking for players who want to deliver flawless performance and aren't content with being average. It's also a huge plus if the player isn't afraid to talk and bring his own ideas into the fight and can grasp the whole picture.

· There is no specific gear requirement. We have recruited, attuned and geared up several undergeared players in the past. But the player has to convince us that he is going to be worth the effort.



Key skills and traits we expect from applicants:

· Reliable Attendance – We expect attendance at least 3 times per raiding week.

· A thorough knowledge of class and spec – We expect active thinking upon and understanding of the applicant’s chosen class and spec; we are not seeking members that simply follow what they read on Elitist Jerks without thinking about what they are actually reading. Raid spots are given to those who prove to be the most skilled and capable without exception.

· A desire to progress – Consumables, coffee and prior tactical knowledge, we expect applicants to show up prepared, alert and informed about the boss encounters we are progressing on.

· Communication skills – A solid grasp of English is essential to joining the guild; we expect members to communicate actively on Ventrilo, and having a good sense of humour is vital.

· Skill, not gear – Our gear requirements are fairly lenient; although we expect a certain level of gear from applicants it is not of key importance to have the highest level gear before applying. If we are convinced you are a decent player, then that gear will come in time.

· Personality – Most importantly of all, the desire and effort to integrate socially into the guild. Cold Blooded is, and always has been, about the community of players enjoying playing together. Without this aspect, the guild would not have lasted this long.



Schedule:

-Our "official" raiding times are:

· 19:30 to 24:00 CET on the Wednesday & Monday

· 18:30 to 24:00 CET on the Sunday
