About Us
Sanity is a 3 year-old guild that efficiently raids the latest content whilst still maintaining a certain degree of casual fun. We aim to maintain a small but reasonable amount of members, choosing efficiency and reliability over certainty in numbers. In other words quality before quantity.
Members will strive for the same ideals and realise they forfeit their membership when and if pursuing more selfish goals. It should be common knowledge that succeeding in high end raids requires people to pull together and cooperate on all levels.
Raiding and Loot
Loot (turn the word around and!) is considered a “tool” to progress through content. Therefore it's important the appropriate classes get their tools first before the classes to whom the tools are a secondary option. Seeing as loot usually is a stress point in general, in all circumstances the tools we encounter will be divided appropriately by a loot council.
Loot will be divided based on activity, effort, class, talent spec and reliability. The main thought behind this way of distribution, is that the most active members will pull the lesser active members faster than is possible by other loot systems, and thus severely shorten the timespan in which everyone will get what they want.
Core Members
Core members are in essence the backbone of the guild, these are the people who organise, sweat and bleed to get things done. This includes everyone who puts forth a reasonable amount of effort in order to achieve the guild goals, either by being online 24/7 and thus always available or doing a lot of dirty work that needs to be done.
We expect each and every single individual member to aim to be a core member.
