“Conviction” Guild

Who Are we
<Conviction> is a guild on the PvP realm Executus. We are a PvE orientated guild who cater for the players who want serious raids but not on a hardcore schedule. We raid 3 days a week on Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday from 20:00 till 00:00, On off days we encourage guild runs to 10 mans and old 25 mans etc with alts or mains. This helps fine tune our teamwork when it comes to progressing.

What we expect from you
What we want from you is dedication to our raids, and a shared desire for good raids, and progression, but not at the cost of having a good time. We want you to take things seriously, but not cause any drama over loot or raid spots or personal issues. We want you to be able to relax and joke around, but not screw up or waste time. We want you to know your class and spec well, but not be afraid to listen to advice from other people."

We raid 3 days a week as this gives plenty of time for irl so we expect all our members to make 3/3 raids and be waiting outside the instance ready for an invite. Things do happen irl which means missing the odd raid, which is ok as long as it doesn't happen too often. Preparation is something that we take very seriously so turning up with flasks/elixirs, food buffs, etc is required.

We don't have any set restrictions on gear requirements and would happily take an under geared player but they would have to show that they are a good dedicated player.

What you can expect from us
We have a very strong Officer base who have good experience through all content in Vanilla WoW and TBC.

We believe in speed and efficiency when it comes to raids. We maintain a high level of focus and minimize stupid mistakes throughout the raid. We keep the tone light during trash, but concentrated during boss fights. We have a scheduled break at the half-way point of the raid, other than that we keep AFKs and breaks to the absolute minimum. Having one person keeping 24 other people waiting for them is not acceptable.

We also have a good social part to the guild with Vent used outside of raid times and also once a member you will have access to the guild chat box on our website which is frequently used throughout the day, We have to kill time at work some how :)

Loot is distributed using EP/GP (Effort Points/Gear Points) which is the fairest and most efficient way of giving loot out.
