A Necessary Evil is one of the leading Horde guild on Hellfire and focusing on 25-man contents.

About us
A Necessary Evil was formed in the early TBC and is almost as old as the Server. We have always been one of the leading Guilds and are the only Horde guild that progressed in Sunwell Plateau. In Sunwell we cleared all bosses up to Twins and where fighting M’uru when the big nerf hit the game. In WotLK we have cleared all instances up to where we are now. Today we are progressing in Icc and aim to clear it with quality and fun with the time we spend.

We are a friendly and dedicated semi-hardcore guild, which means we only raid 4 days a week. During raids we are focused, well organized and all work hard to improve our self and the raid as a whole. On off-days we do Heroics, raid 10-man instances (cleared all T7 with all achievements) or 25-man with our alts and friends or have fun doing BG or whatever comes in to our mind. The age of our raiders is all between 18 – 40 years old and we like the mature and almost drama less environment. Besides our Raiders we also have Friends in the guild that has a pure social function.

About you
This is what we expect from a raider (and trials)

Character:
- You have a level 80 character with a spec you enjoy to play.
- You can raid a minimum of 3 of our current 4 raid days. (If you are not sure you can live up to this in the coming months please don’t waste our and your time by applying)
- You got in-depth knowledge of your class and abilities, and know how to play your class.
- You have good knowledge of other classes and abilities, and how they work together with other classes.
- You have raid experience.
- Your gear is in T10 level.
- Your gear is properly gemmed and enchanted.

Personal:
- You are a mature player with enough common sense.
- You don't have any problems understanding, talking and writing understandable English.
- You can stay focused for a given period of time and be able to listen to raid leaders on Ventrilo.
- You have no problems with talking on Ventrilo when it is required.
- You can handle constructive criticism.
- You have a good sense of humor.
- You are a teamplayer.

General:
- You have a stable internet connection and a computer that can handle 4 hours of raiding.
- You have or know how to get and operate Ventrilo
- You have good knowledge of game mechanics and know what the most commonly used "wow" expressions mean.

This is what we expect to see from a trial:
It’s up to you to show us you want to be a member of our team and to be worthy a raider rank in ANE.
We will validate your skills, dedication, activity, social skills and the overall impression of you as a player to see if you would be a raider that fits in our Guild.

What you can expect from us:

Community:
A friendly and dedicated semi-hardcore guild, with a lot of friendly and equally minded guild mates.

Progression:
We are one of the leading guilds when it comes to raid progression on this server.

Raids:
We raid 4 days a week from 20:00-24:00 (raidinvites start at 19.30)
We have Tuesday, Friday and Saturday night raid-free every week.

Loot:
We use a EPGP system that rewards participating people.
