This is what we used to do
Outcast was formed on March 3, 2008 by members from the by then disbanded Karazhan guild Theocracy. Starting out as a venture for some friends to socialize in it soon became clear that the guild was able to do some serious raiding as well. Starting late in TBC we managed to see Illidan at 1% the day before the nerfbat hit and despite the fact that we weren't all geared up we did fairly well in Sunwell defeating M'uru and saying hello to Kil'Jaeden. In WotLK we have done rather ok job too killing Yogg Saron and Anub'arak, clearing all hard modes on 10-man so we can flap around on little proto drake wings. I believe the only thing we were a bit sad to miss out on was the Immortal achievement. Damn you Thaddius!
This is what we do now
Ulduar has been around for a while and we managed to reach most of our goals we set up for the first few weeks. We reached Yogg-Saron in a couple of resets, had some trouble learning the encounter with some important player changes etc that ended in the usual summer drought but we got him finally and a couple of nice hard mode encounters along the way too. With Coliseum upon us we of course moved into the new tier 9 dungeon while still trying to fit in the Ulduar achievements. Anub'arak turned out to be a joke so now we are hoping that the hard modes will bring a better challenge to the table. As long as there's more tough bosses to wipe against and legendarys to be worn for showoff in Orgrimmar then Outcast will be there. I'm not going to lie and say we will beat anyone on world firsts but we definitively will get those evildoers down and we will not be the last guild to do it. We will not be backing off on trying the toughest encounters Blizzard throws at us while still remaining a friendly, mature and social guild.
TLDR: 25-man 4/5 ToGC 5/5 ToC 14/14 Ulduar 10-man 5/5 ToGC (mad skill) 13/14 Ulduar incl GotUR, every now and then still working on some of the few of the Ulduar HMs that we still miss.
We may need you
The current raid progress with hard modes and tougher achievements requires more from our players than the endgame did when Naxxramas was the last stop in WotLK. Trash once again need some thought, bosses hit harder once more and healers can actually go oom. With this in mind we are welcoming new players to the guild that have an urge to learn encounters and not just rush through them to get free epix. Experience from TBC endgame content, knowledge of class and gameplay, patience and an understanding of what it takes to raid more difficult content is just a few things we would be looking for in a player.
We may not need you at all
Outcast have never been that hardcore that we require you to push things to the limit everyday but we do require everyone to use flasks, food and reagents when we do progress raids. I know from experience that some players can't live up to this. They simply can't make the effort to get money for repairs or set aside the time needed for raiding (which in our guild is some three and a half hours about 3-4 out of 5 possible raiddays a week). If that is you then we don't want you. We don't dislike you or frown upon you but you will not fit in. We can be flexible about things with players that keep up high standards for a longer time but we will not provide any free rides.
So you have read all the mumbo-jumbo above then what?

--------------------------------Current status----------------------------------
Our healing team is in need of some reinforcements and we would like to see one or two more raid healers. On the dps side of things we mainly lack some debuffing classes, a shadowpriest and a boomkin as well as a really good cat drood.
Outcast would currently under the right circumstances consider recruiting the following:
- Ranged dps, We would like to see another shadow priest and possibly a skilled mage.
- Melee dps, There is a spot for a well geared cat that knows how to handle the cooldowns. We might also consider a really geared retribution paladin that manages to impress us but aren't actively looking for one.
- Healers, We will recruit one holy paladin
- Any other class may be considered if exceptional
