“MYED” Guild

MYED
We are a late-night semi-hardcore raiding guild that was created early this year in January. Most of us had cleared 14/14 normal by this time so we got together to start progression on heroics. We are currently 12/14hc and hungry for more progression. We're recruiting the following classes/roles below, as well as exceptional players ready to raid in Warlords.

Melee DPS: OPEN

Exceptional applicants will always be considered regardless of whether we are currently recruiting that particular role/class.

Raid Days & Times

Thursday: 01:00 - 04:00

Friday: 01:00 - 04:00

Monday: 01:00 - 04:00

Invites start as early as 20mins before the raid to start clearing trash so we can pull on time.


What we can offer you:

Stable, friendly, yet serious raiding environment - we like to have fun, both when raiding and outside of raiding, may that be pushing for ranks, capping together. We also keep a serious environment when raiding to keep focus and get as much out of the raid as possible.

Raid food - We currently are offering raid food when attending raids in the form of noodle carts, though having your own food is always handy in-case there is a shortage of food. Of course we expect you to bring your own flasks/pots!

Fair loot via loot council - We are currently using a loot council based system to hand out loot to those that we feel deserve it. Best in slots, major upgrades and raid performance are all taken into consideration when giving out loot. Arguments over loot aren't tolerated and have never been an issue before and will not be in the future.

What we expect from you:

Full knowledge of your class/role - this includes knowing how to gem/reforge/enchant your own gear. If something seems a bit off, officers may question you on your choices and we expect you to know why you have done that and to convince us it's for the best.

Stable internet connection & computer - random lag spikes and internet disconnections happen to everyone and this is fine for us, as long as you can fix it and it doesn't take time out of the raid. If you have consistant disconnection/computer issues that you cannot fix, this may not be the guild for you.

Be able to take criticism - if there is something you are doing wrong that is impacting the raid, you will be told. We don't expect you to take this criticism personally or to heart, though we do expect you to fix it and learn from it.

Teamspeak - we are using teamspeak 3 to communicate during raids. If for some reason you cannot talk one night and won't impact the raid heavily then we can deal with that. Otherwise, we expect you to be able to talk on teamspeak during raids. (a lot of people are shy when joining new guilds, we are aware of that. We fully expect you to call things out if needed though. We don't expect you to tell us your life story on your first raid night!

Be online at least 10mins before raid is due to start - this is so we can get the raid together, clear trash and be fully ready to pull upon raid start time.
