“The Asylum” Guild

The Asylum was formed almost a year and a half ago by a group of experienced players. Our core has been playing together for about 2 years now and we're open to new blood in our ranks.

We're a group of good players that help each other experience the game to its full potential.
In The Asylum you will find a fun healthy environment, jokes, and active guildies at almost any given hour during the day.

During the raids however the guilds officers and leaders are running a tight shift making sure every single raider is doing his job. Our raiders assist by keeping in mind that progress is the main goal.

Its the fun atmosphere combined with strict discipline and a good leadership that makes The Asylum the best choice for good play.

Raid information

We're a semi-hardcore guild and during WOTLK our guild was one of the few with high progress that raid ONLY 3 days a week

Invites start 10-15 minutes before six o'clock

Monday 18:00-22:00
Wednesday 18:00-22:00
Thursday 18:00-22:00

Weekends are used for alt raids or even rated bgs as we have a PVP section as well.

Progress:
(as the guild was formed in February 2010 we only consider progress icc and after)

We rushed in ICC and managed to kill 12/12 heroics as 25man before Cataclysm hits Azeroth. Firstly we killed LK heroic on 10man at september and then 1-2 months later on 25 man with the help from some members of Ancient Defilers.
Also cleared Ruby Sanctum 1/1 normal.

Due to some attendency issues lately we've decided to change our guild to focus on 10m rather then 25m.This was decided by the entire guild as we kept having attendency problems when it came to the progress raids on 25m. This change already proves to have helped the guild alot, and we've already had progress since we made the change.
However, at a later point we might still go back to 25m raiding - we just need to stabilize our core - so if you're an excellent applicant, feel free to apply.

As 25 man
Bastion of Twilight: 4/4 normal 1/4 heroic (halfus)
Blackwind Descent: 6/6 normal
Throne of four Winds: 2/2 normal

As 10 man
Bastion of Twilight: 4/4 normal 3/5 heroic (halfus, twin drakes & chogal)
Blackwind Descent: 6/6 normal 6/6 heroic
Throne of four Winds: 2/2 normal 1/2 heroic

Current patch:
Firelands: 7/7 normal 6/7 heroic

Requirements to join our ranks

Firstly,we want players that know their class very well and can keep up with all the changes the new patches may bring, as well as their gear and progress are at the same level our guild is. We dont need players that excpect everything from their officers.

Secondly, you will need a decent PC to play with, even if you are the best player in the world, getting DCed during raids is draining our time, and may even cause undesired wipes over nothing.
remember, an offline player is worse than a dead player!

Thirdly, our main aim is to get guys that are loyal to the guild and will not ditch us after 2 months. We can teach you the encounters, we can upgrade your gear, but loyalty is what we demand.

Furthermore,you need to come prepared to raids with full focus and ready for whatever encounter we might go for.(fully enchanted/gemmed gear, food and flasks are required).

And last but not least, you have to get along with our members, a guy that will not click with the guild atmosphere will not stay in it even if he is an amazing player.
