Guild Profile

Raunchy is an old guild created long before The Burning crusade,
with the intent of PvPing. For a long time we had an amazing
premade running close to 24/7, and we created several High warlords
on Magtheridon. After the burning crusade launched, we still kept
focus on PvP, but a few months later (after getting the highest
ranked 5v5 team in s1), we decided to transfer to another server.
That was not the success we planed though, since not all came with
us, and with too few member on both servers, the guild kind of
split.
Some stopped playing, some found PvE guilds, and others migrated to several different servers. But now we are back, reunited and ready to kick ass in Wrath of the Lich King, in both aspects of the game – PvE and PvP.
The focus of the guild always has been, and will always be, to have fun, being social and keeping a high standard regarding skill and knowledge of the game. Gear can be farmed, experience can be learned, but the ability to express yourself in English, knowing how the game works and generally being a plus to the guild will be required.
We have a lot of members with previous hardcore PvE in the past, both in the old 40man raids, and in TBC. PvE experience is an advantage, but not a requirement, as long as we feel you are a good player and nice person. Just because you focused on PvP in the past, does not make you bad at PvE.
We are a casual raiding guild – we will raid 3 times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
All days 17.00 – 23:00.
On Off-days we will arrange 10man raids, and we will ofc. also resurrect our old premade. Besides that, we will try to keep our tradition of a lot of World PvP, even though Magtheridon seem to lack alliance atm, we will do some city raids etc.. (We actually used to do city raids before it became fotm warbear farm)
About you:
To be considered for a Trial in Raunchy you will need to:
Want to experience all the new wotlk instances, but don’t have the time to raid 5-6 times a week, or you want to do some serious PvP, and don’t feel like raiding more than 3 times a week.
Have a lot of knowledge of how the game works, like mechanics, spells, gear and so on. If you do not know how all buffs/debuffs/spells/stats etc in the game works, you are not Raunchy material. I know you just have to press 2 buttons and get out of the fire in PvE, but it says a lot about your dedication and person.
Have a decent PC and connection.
Be able to think for yourself. We should not have to tell you to get out of the fire, or which weapon is better. You should already know that.
Know which class you are going to play, and sticking to it. We only raid 3 times a week, and have a lot of PvP members, that sometimes will need something from PvE. We can’t gear up a new main/alt all the time.
Be able to express yourself in English, and not afraid of talking in Vent.
Be very social. Most of our members log on to Ventrilo, before logging ingame. If you just want to kill some bosses and get some epics, Raunchy is not for you. We help each other, and can always rely on getting help when we need.
Have humor!!! If you can’t make a bad joke, or laugh of a wipe, you will be facepalming constantly in Raunchy. We have fun, both on Ventrilo and gchat, be a part of it.
Have a high dedication of always wanting to improve your game. Even if you can just play 10 hours/week you can still be dedicated.
What we offer:
Getting to see all the new 25man instances.
Loyal guildmembers.
A guild that sticks together, even when we were split between server and guilds, all “core” members daily visited our forum, and always kept touch. Many of us have played together in other games as well, and will stay together, even after wow.
Active forum, guildchat and Ventrilo.
Organized PvP when not raiding.
But most importantly people that treat you with respect, and see guildmembers as more than just a green line of text in guildchat. And we expect you to do the same.
If you feel like Raunchy is something for you, and you think you have what it takes, feel free to post an application: http://www.raunchy-guild.eu
