Used To Be general information and rules

General information

Used To Be has changed to a more casual raiding guild. We aim to have fun and do raids when we can, currently we are doing 10m raids. For this we still have 1 main rank: Raider.
The Raider is part of the raiding team and should try to be available for most raids, we do expect that they know their class and make some effort in reading tactics.

A core raider rank will be giving to people who we think that they are integral part of the guild, but there is no priority on loot, Raider and Core Raider have the same rights.

Chain of command

Like every guild, Used To Be has a chain of command. In this case it's a rather small chain. On the top we have Valgirl, second in line we have all the officers and at the base we have all the members.

General behaviour rules.

A good attitude towards eachother is absolutely mandatory. Swearing in general is not something we'll make a big hassle of, unless it's projected at a specific person. Swearing in any public way to guildies is absolutely forbidden, and we will not be forgiving in this, since the atmosphere is the driving force behind a proper raiding team. Please act normally at eachother, and try to respect other people's habits and feelings; not everyone is the same.

A proper attitude towards the outside is just as important to keep our reputation at a good level. Please act friendly to other players from other guilds and try to stay out of fights. This will not only keep the guild's reputation good, but also your own.

We might be one of the best guilds on the server but this does not mean that everone else is crap, we should not walk next to our shoes and appear to be complete asses when dealing with others, please keep this in mind when you talk, play with others.

Raidinvite rules

NOTE: The Officers and myself remain in full right to go out of these rules when it comes to making exceptions. Ofcourse this will not happen often, but it will be done when needed.

Raid invites will start before 15 minutes of the raid time, Members are required to update the invitation as soon as they can. Raid confirmations will be made the day before the raid. This way you know if you have to make efforts on attending or can come online later on to be stand-by.

Raid composition will be done with progress in mind, this means that we might need to switch around people for certain encounters.

Raiding rules

Everyone should come prepared to raids as best as they can. (potions, flasks, food and fully repaired)

During raiding where the raid's concentration is needed raid chat and ventrilo should be used only for the raiding purpose when we approach or are in a boss fight, during trash we can talk about something but this should not interfear with the ongoing raid! Ventrilo should be clear for the raid leader to be able to give out orders and ask raid specific things to certain people, so if the raid leader starts to give out tasks or orders do not keep chatting as if he isnt there but stop your conversation for the time needed.

Legendary Items: People that can use the legendary item will be able to discuss amongst them who should get it, this will then be approved by the officers. If no concensus can be made the officers will need to decide who will get the item

Trial Time:

If your application is accepted you will be given a trial time for Used To Be. During this trial time you have close to zero rights on loot (on guild-raids). Your trial time will be 4 weeks on average, but may be ended by your commanding officer at any given time by either promoting you to member status or removing you from the guild.
