“Insurgency” WoW Guild

Insurgency is a Danish high-end 10 man raiding guild on Tarren Mill created by former top-raiders and top-PvP'ers in December 2010. We strive to be the very best Danish PvE guild and also to establish ourselves as the best guild on Tarren Mill.

We were originally a 25 man-guild during both tier 11 and tier 12, but faced severe problems with roster-stability, and we were eventually forced to downsize to 10 man in the middle of Firelands-progression. While the majority of us were initially very disappointed that this was necessary, it would eventually turn out to be something we all appreciated. We secured a realm #2 on Heroic Ragnaros despite starting out a lot, lot later than our nearest competitors.

We used Dragon Soul to finetune our roster and managed to secure a pre-nerf kill of Spine of Deathwing Heroic, which was really the primary goal for us in DS; we were much more focused on Mists of Pandaria. We wanted to climb the global ranking ladder even further in MoP, so we bumped up our goal for the expansion significantly prior to the release: Top 100 world 10 man, best Danish guild and Tarren Mill's best guild. Goals we, after now having finished tier 14, so far have achieved. Some fine numbers that illustrate how much we've improved:


However, 5.2 and tier 15 is going to be the real deal! With a stronger roster than ever, we are insanely motivated and hungry. Also, the competition on Tarren Mill has become a lot stiffer this expansion, which is motivating us even more. Competition that we appreciate and shout-outs to all guilds on Tarren Mill: You are all truly awesome and 5.2 is going to be a tight race!
