“My heart will go on” WoW Guild

Concept
With the launch of Wrath of the Lich King and the moderate difficulty of the raid content, this game is clearly intended to be a fun leisure experience, and that is exactly our stance. No evenings day in day out with exhaustive attempts or struggle to "progress".

We predominantly consist of people around 20 of age, that is established people, having (and wanting) to spend time with family, work, studies and other hobbies aswell.
It is our view that the recruitment and cultivation of people with a healthy and stable life outside the game, who can adapt and excel ingame, will yield a fun and steady raiding environment.

Diversification is also important to us in that we consider a major part of the game getting to know other people from around the globe. We are not an isolated community of real life friends, on the contrary actually, meaning everyone if they want it, will have a fair chance of fitting in.

Lastly, we want to stress and dissociate the common attitude that people are a class and tool for the means of progress. We acknowledge the fact that there is real people behind the character and approach any, as we would have outside the game.

Taking into account the abovementioned principles, which actually sounds more than it is, seeing new bosses, getting new gear, and having fun _will_ be the inevitable result.

Raid times
In concrete terms, we raid 2-3 times a week, and require people to attend on a stable basis, but are also flexible to coincidences in real life that may cause the absence for a limited period of time.
Monday 19:00 - 23:00
Thursday 19:00 - 23:00
Sunday 19:00 - 23:00

Technical
We use EQDKP for tracking of attendancy and loot, and RaidPlan for signing up for raids, one week in advance. Newest version of Ventrilo and the ability to communicate via a forum is naturally also required.
