The Guild:

Saeculum Aureum is founded at the end of Warlords of Draenor, with the aim of smooth progression raiding, by a well experienced core of raiders.
With a relaxed schedule of 3 raids a week we still ask for a high performance of our raiders to ensure a stable amount of progress.
We are always happy to help anyone to improve by digging through logs or other means.

We use personal loot for all our raids, this is to save time during raids and not have annoyance about loot aimed at each other. We always manage to get plenty of loot to go around and gain additional loot from mythic+

Our main goal for ToS and Antorus will be to clear Mythic content before the new raid content is released. The key to this is in part:
• Preparation – Before every raid there will be boss videos and guild specific tactics on our forum. Setup is decided before the raid starts (for every boss specifically). And we will make specific notes for every role / job that will be send out per fight.
• Clear and calm raid leading – While the raid leader has the job of setting up the fights and explaining the guild specific tactics to the raid team, the officers (and volunteers) will help with calling out mechanics and raid-cool downs during the fight.
• Efficiency – We pride ourselves on doing things properly. Here we are not talking about not making any mistakes, as everyone does from time to time. We are talking about priority targeting, proper use of cool downs and giving raiders the jobs that suit their class, spec, skill and experience.
• Dynamically raising the bar - While we do not expect our raiders to have a hardcore mindset, we do increase the requirements our raiders need to meet at a healthy rate to ensure that the team always keeps growing in strength. (We offer a lot of help on how to approach this efficiently so no one needs to feel overwhelmed by this. On our forum you can see how we do this exactly.)

We also offer regular social / alt raids, these raids are lead in the same professional manner but are entirely optional and not meant to gear up main raiders.
