Obscure is a long-established (over 3 years old) on The Sha'tar. We raid Wed/Sun/Mon 19:45-23:00. For all intents and purposes we are a 25-man raiding guild. However, due to our limited raiding hours we do not massively over-recruit and this does on very rare occasions lead to us running 2x10-man groups.

Our goal for MoP is to the best 3x3 25-person raiding guild in the world. So if you're a great raider who's looking for highly time-efficient, competitive raiding, drop us an application.

T14 Progression:
Mogu'shan Vaults 25: 6/6 Normal 3/6 heroic (Feng, Gara'jel + Elegon)
Mogu'shan Vaults 10: 6/6 Heroic
Heart of Fear 25: 6/6 Normal + 6/6 Heroic
Terrace of Endless Spring 25: 4/4 Normal (+Elite Mode) + 1/4 Heroic (Lei Shi)
Terrace of Endless Spring 10: 4/4 Normal (+Elite Mode) + 2/4 Heroic (Protectors + Tsulong)

We're specifically looking for:
2x Ranged DPS ***Warlock/Druid High Priority. Other Classes Considered***
2x Healer ***All Classes Considered***

We are also always interested in outstanding applications from any class who think they can challenge one of our current raiders.

What we expect from you:
You are expected to come to raids fully prepared: That means knowing your class inside out, along with the fight. Raiding only 9 hours a week means we just don't have time to brute-force an encounter - we focus on preparation, team-work and skill. It also means that you are expected to attend the vast majority of our raiding days.

What you can expect from us:
A mature guild environment, which fundamentally means polite and drama-free. It doesn't mean we never swear, it does mean things like homophobic or racist comments are beyond our range of experience. And it means we carry ourselves with a certain level of class when dealing with people outside the guild as well.

From a raiding perspective, "mature" means a stable raiding schedule. It means we don't massively over-recruit, but it also means that if you're having a bad night and standing in fire that you generally ask to be replaced before the raid leader does it. "Mature" means that while we sometimes use "serious voice" you're not going to be screamed at for making a mistake, although you are expected to own it.

Furthermore we have a very active and social guild environment, in which if there isn't already something going on, you can organize it. Even during last summer's content lull we had member-organized RBGs, retro-raids, alt-raids, city-attacks, etc. almost every evening.

What we look for in potential new raiders:
- heroic raiding experience in this or prior tiers
- a gemming, glyphing, enchanting and speccing that indicates that you know your class inside out
- a desire to constantly improve and be the best
- very high situational awareness
- high raid preparation
- extremely good raid discipline
- a mature, intelligent person who's a good social fit; it's ok if you're shy, it's not ok if you're causing drama
