Hey there,
Showdown is a PvE guild currently residing on Vek’nilash EU, we started out on Kazzak though and we finished TBC content as server 1st on Kazzak. We sadly got forced to migrate away because of the condition of the server.
Our rank pre-Wrath was 47th World (34th EU), and we are looking forward to compete in Icecrown Citadel.
About us in short
At the start of TBC, Showdown was formed out of the remnants of a guild called Wipe, which was a result of the merging between Synergy and Kapow, two old school guilds that originally came from Daggerspine.
We've always had our focus on PvE progression, and we’ve always been able to clear the new content in a more than acceptable pace, with Felmyst world 6th and Kil'jaeden as world 47th as best achievements.

Showdown is preparing for Icecrown Citadel, and is therefore open on recruitment for ALL classes. That doesn't mean we will take in more of each class, but we are looking for 2-3 people total.
Currently high need classes:

Exceptional applications are always considered and our frontpage at http://www.sd-wow.com has a full list of what we are most interested in.

Requirements
• Dedication.
• Fast reactions and being able to keep yourself alive, while doing your job at the same time.
• The appropriate gear for 25 man raiding.
• Previous experience, the more the better.
• Understanding of your class/spec and general game mechanics.
• Access to Ventrilo v3 and a headset.
• Being able to vocally express your thoughts and ideas as well as adding important inputs during encounters in a short and appropriate way.
Our raiding schedule is Sunday – Thursday, from 18:45 – 23:30. The raiding times are not totally fixed though, and we might extend when it’s needed during progress, or even add a raid on a Friday or Saturday.
When it comes to attitude, we expect you to be focused, friendly and full of team spirit, being highest on Recount won’t help the raid if you don’t do your job properly.
