Guild Ranks: All newly invited players hold the rank of recruit. This recruit/trial period lasts a minimum of 2 weeks. During this time you will, of course, be evaluated on your capabilities and you will have no loot priority. We want players who are willing to prove themselves before garnering loot, not cherry pickers who believe they are entitled to free stuff.
As a recruit you are evaluated on attendance, performance, availability, raid preparation and guild involvement.
All Rules are guidelines. There are times when they are bent and then broken. If this happens a member feels ill about it then address the issue with an officer AFTER raid. From 7:30 - 11:30 Mutiny kills shit. Period.
RAID & INVITES:
1. Progression raids are Mon/Tue/Wed. These raids are mandatory for all recruits and above.
2. Calendar invites for the upcoming raid lockout will be in game by Thursday.
3. Raid invites START @ 7:20 (may be earlier)
4. Accepted calendar invites will be honored until 7:40 at which point the spot will be opened to the guild.
5. Invites go to Raiders before Members and Members before recruits and trials. Those who have been with us and proved themselves are the guilds priority. Recruits, your time will come. The weeks fly by and you will have plenty of opportunity to raid.
6. AFTER 7:40 all raid spots will be finalized and filled if needed with those who failed to accept calendar invites. Officers, Raiders or Members who log on after this point are most likely shit out of luck.
7. It is very rare for somebody to step out of a Mutiny raid. However if somebody asks to be in the raid after it is full there will be a set list. If a spot opens that they can fill they have first chance to join the raid.
8. Accept your calendar invites. Log in by 7:15 and don't go afk.
RAID PREPAREDNESS:
ADDONS:
1. Deadly Boss Mods or BigWigs
2. Pally Power for Paladins
3. Omen,
4. Decursive for Mages, Druids, Priest, Shaman and Paladins.
5. GRID, xPerl or another raid UI (preferably NOT Blizzards UI) for Healers regardless of class.
6. DoT and CCTimers if class applicable.
RAID CONSUMABLES:
EVERYONE is expected to come prepared with Flasks and specialty food buffs. The guild and your fellow raiders try and provide fish feasts for raids. Time and Energy goes into them. Show respect and bring flasks and reagents AND be repaired. If you fish, toss mats in the gbank and voila Fish Feasts will appear!
LOOT:
Above all else loot should better the raid. A side grade to a long time member does not take precedence over an upgrade of a new member.
1. Loot Council - The Loot Master will link an item in /WR. Participants of the raid post item(s) they wish to upgrade with loot and the Loot Council determines who should get it.
2. Priority - Loot priority for BiS items goes to Raiders, Members then Recruits. This means that you need to know what your BiS items are. Officers do not know every facet of the game. Know what loot is best for you and pass that info on the loot council at relevant times.
3. Upgrade - Bigger upgrade should be bigger priority.
3. Spread the Love - If a raid member already received loot from the current raid or raid lockout then loot should be passed to other raid members.
4. Gear your Healers and Tanks - The Raid rests on the shoulders of healers and tanks. This should be a rarely evoked rule but an important one to consider.
5. LOOT SHOULD BE QUICK. When in doubt roll. If a mistake was made we now have the tools to fix it. Loot should not hold up the raid.
6. Sometimes, once in a blue moon loot just goes to somebody. Maybe it was for a sexual favor or maybe they did something really nice for the guild or maybe they've been passed over for that item the last 20 raids and it's just their turn.
7. Questions or concerns about loot should be discussed with any officer AFTER the raid.
CONDUCT:
1. Have fun, tell jokes, tell stories, if your legal drinking age have a few drinks.
2. It's not a joke if your guild mate isn't laughing with you. There are lines. Know when and when not to cross them.
3. Vent is a tool not a party line. Raid silence during boss fights. Make fun of Xandee when she's passing out loot not healing you because you weren't paying attention and pulled agro.
4. Consider the guild. Do you need loot from this boss? Is somebody on the sidelines that does need loot for this boss? If you are invited to a raid the spot you fill is yours. If you let somebody sit in on a boss afterwards it is yours again.
5. Spread the Love. That slight upgrade you just got may be somebodies BiS. Loot Council is not perfect, know when to spread the love.
6. There's No Crying In Baseball. Drama isn't fun. Sometimes shit goes down wrong. If there's an issue raid leaders will deal with it. Whining only begets more whining. Whisper an officer don't spam the raid. Other wise release, run back, rebuff, and T-Bag the Douche waiting for a rez.
