“Forgot to Wipe” Guild

Forgot to Wipe are looking for mature members for it's 25 man raid team. Most of our guild members are in their thirties. We do have several members over forty as well. Mature individuals of all ages are welcome. FTW has a lot to offer it's members, including;

*Experienced leadership from Ranger trainer to Marine Corps drill instructor. Experienced, "World First" leadership from previous raid leads of Death and Taxes, Ret, Underrated, Nephilim and other world ranked old school guilds.

We have strong, proven leadership. A Marine Corps drill instructor and Ranger School instructor actively mentor our ranks as well as a crisis counselor and several business owners, all of whom provide perspectives of success and the strength of their leadership.

Of course, we aren't all affiliated with the military. Most of our members are experienced raiders going as far back as UO and EQ. Classic WoW and the Burning Crusade saw most of us leading the way in server first guilds. Striving for success, raiding eight or more hours, seven days a week, we farmed mats at all hours of the night to provide the necessities of our communities raiding campaigns. We are still those people. The difference now is our lives

*Raid MTW 8:30PM-12:30 EST. 4 Hours per night lets you live life and gives plenty of room for your work and play schedules.

*Ranks based on the effort and time you have to put in, not on how cool we think you are. You can be demoted here, and it isn't for shame, when you have the time to perform the duties of rank then you can be promoted again, believe me there is always something to do, you will get promoted again if you wish to pitch in.

We have lives now. Family, wives, children, jobs, mortgages, responsibilities, myriad other exigencies of life that keep us from playing WoW as we once did. We cater to those individuals as our ilk. We have made our community sustainable with a system of leadership and sound policies that give us respite when needed.

Time is the major constraint of our company and raiding progress. Condensed down into around four hours per night, we come prepared not only with flasks and potions, food and reagents, but with the same intense, precise expertise of our singular class and spec just as we did at the height of our competitive raiding tenure.

*Freedom to play any class any spec.

*A working GBank system that provides half price AH items including Flasks and Food as well as means to earn DKP.

*Robust DKP system. Spend your DKP on anything, even gear for off-spec or your alts. Earn DKP via many means such as GBank donations and weekend raids. Earn the same DKP on the bench as those raiding.

For Cataclysm our pool of experience and strategy will be expounded upon with the campaigns from Wrath of the Lich King. As a community we are heading into Cataclysm together. Similarly, we also participate in other games and projects. Fantasy leagues and Starcraft 2 are current extra curricular activities with major interests on the horizon such as Star Wars: The Old Republic.

We rest assured that our transition to the next expansion or a new game will be done together with great people we know in a community that has been successful for three years.
