Our Background:
EPU was founded the day of Warcraft's launch on the Bloodhoof server. We are much more than a WoW guild. We're an online gaming community that has its roots in making sure that the games we play are fun instead of a job. The leadership takes on the burden of keeping things fair and well-documented, and the membership takes on the burden of carrying our banner well. Priority number one: make the games we play as fun as possible. Priority number two: seek excellence in everything that we do. It's this fun-centralism that sets EPU apart from a majority of WoW guilds, and it's the reason we can give other guildies a high five when we meet them in RL.
Raid Scheduling and Progress:
EPU is a PvE guild on Area 52 with normal raid times from 7:15 to 11:30 EST Sunday-Thursday. Even though we have all current 25-man content on farm status, that doesn't really mean much at the moment since the content is so very easy. We have downed 3-drake Sartharion and pre-3.0 we were on Phase 2 M'uru. We are a guild that has been around since launch and has a history of raiding end-game content.
Our Raiding Philosophy:
We are a mature guild that values progress, but on a schedule which allows everyone to still make it to work the next morning. We keep a calm and cool head while raiding; we have fun playing this game, but when it's time to get our game on, we focus hard to do what needs to be done. We value our good name on server and do not tolerate drama. We also are very equitable about raid spots; if you are good enough to make it to full member, then you will be raiding. It may not be 100%, but you will not be sitting the bench.
We are recruiting all classes as we prepare for Ulduar.
What we are looking for in an applicant:
- Commitment to raiding. If you can't make 80% or more of raids, we aren't for you; we don't recruit to pad the roster.
- Know your class, play it well.
- Mature attitude. Leave the drama llama at the door. Bringing it with you will get you kicked no matter how awesome you may be.
