“Vindictae” Guild

Vindictae is a semi-casual raid guild looking for skilled raiders to join our raid team. We have been raiding together on Arygos since 2009, and are mostly working professionals looking to progress in a fun and committed raid environment.

Trial Membership:

Potential recruits will be invited to the guild under a trial membership period. During this time officers will evaluate your performance and how well you fit into the guild. After two weeks of trial membership a decision will be made regarding raiding status.

Raider Expectations:

We raid Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday; 9pm-Midnight EST.

It is expected that raiders make the vast majority of raids, particularly for Mythic as it does not flex. If a raider’s attendance becomes a regular issue their slot will be filled and they will be shifted to “heroic” raider, explained later.

Our raid environment is casual yet progression focused. This means raiders are expected to know the ins and outs of their class and regularly improve through feedback from the logs that we post. This often includes switching talents per boss fight, or in some cases spec to maximize your classes’ performance on a particular boss.

We log all raids and post them to Askmrrobot for everyone to see. We use this as a tool to evaluate our raids performance and give everyone an opportunity to look for ways to improve themselves. We do not expect all raiders to perform in the top 99th percentile at all times, but we do expect performance conducive of a mythic raider.

We use the guild forums to post and discuss boss strategies and raid performance. Due to our relatively light (9hr/week) raid schedule it is expected that raiders read the posted boss strategy on the guild forums and watch videos to become familiar with fight mechanics ahead of time.

Raiders are encouraged to bring in new ideas or any concerns/confusion to the group to discuss openly on the forums. We have high expectations for raider performance but we are also always more than happy to help people learn and improve.

We have two ways of raiding in Vindictae. Raid composition pending, all competent members of the guild are invited to heroic and normal content that we may be clearing that week (particularly early on in new patches). If performance becomes an issue we will ask you to step out of the raid for the evening.

For mythic content we have a 20 player group dedicated to progression. These players are held to higher performance and attendance standards. As Mythic requires 20 raiders (no more and no less) people will invariably miss raids, show up late, or fall off of the face of the earth. Heroic raiders interested in mythic content will be offered to fill these slots. This serves as a way to work in to the mythic group should performance/attendance permit.

Current recruitment needs are shown, but exceptional applications of any class/spec are encouraged to apply.
