Faillus Maximus is a weekend warrior guild (Saturday 8pm PST, Sunday 6pm PST) focused on casual progression. Each raid is 3 hours long (give or take) meaning that we raid 6 hours a week.

Formed as an offshoot of The Awakening on Hellscream Alliance, Faillus Maximus has a pedigree of success dating back to the defeat of Kil'jaeden prior to the 3.0 patch. Though much has changed since then, the core of the group has remained consistent since transferring to Blackrock after the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.

As our members have grown into semi-functioning members of society, we've had to cut down on the amount of time we devote to raiding, but we are still driven by a desire to progress. "Real Life" has taken its toll on our roster, and as such we are now recruiting, however there are a few things to note:

1) Anyone considering playing with us must have thick skin, and we mean that in the strictest sense. Since we have been together for so long, the behaviour and structure of the guild is more akin to a family than a guild, meaning that there are very few things which our members will not say to one another. Although this can be intimidating, no one is asking you to jump in and "join the family" right away; just play the game to the best of your abilities and the rest will come with time. Take any criticism with a grain of salt.

2) We are often referential to the "good times" of Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. Players without some raiding experience from these expansions may have difficulty fitting in or comprehending our allusions (and delusions). That is not to say we are not interested in people who are new to raiding, but if your intention is to "move up" in the raiding world, then perhaps this is not the guild for you. We are a casual guild first, and a progression guild second; we gave up progression to spend more time pretending to be adults and we are looking primarily for those in similar situations. Think of us as a retirement home for gifted players who don't have the time to do hardcore raiding anymore.

3) We do not sit players. We do not stack classes. We are looking for people who can make our raids consistently every week and want to play with us long-term. Although we are casual, this is not the kind of guild where you can pick and choose the nights you want to raid with us. We are too old for that ... stuff. We want players who actually enjoy the game, enjoy progress for the sake of progress, and who enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. When we recruit it is for forever (or just about).

If you still think you may want to play with us, we're presently PUGing two spots per raid on our scheduled raid nights so just send anyone online a message at any time and you can try us out. And remember:

    LOVE, NOT LOOT!

Also sunscreen.
