Exceptional applicants(DPS/Heals) are always welcome to apply to Insurgency. If you are a great player looking to transfer here or play with a guild that gets things done, it is extremely likely we will take you and give you a chance regardless of your spec, class, or role.

However, acceptance is based on what we need versus how good your application looks. You must be knowledgeable about your spec & significant preference is given to those who have experience with heroic fights.

WHO IS INSURGENCY?

Most importantly, we are a guild that believes progression can occur in a friendly environment. We take our raiding seriously, though, so we expect performance when it is time to do business. While gear is unquestionably important, we recognize that gear score is not the only contributing factor in skilled raid progression.

However, to raid with us, you must have raid awareness and be able to pull your own weight. Your first impression (application) is important. Be sure you are reforged, enchanted, and gemmed appropriately. In other words, we are looking for evidence you know your Spec.

SO YOU WANT TO BE AN INSURGENCY RAIDER?

Raiding experience is highly preferred. While we are open to teaching new Raiders, we cannot be unfair to the team and jeopardize our raid progression. That being said, this does not mean that you must have uber raid experience to be a good raider (if something else on your application catches our eye, we have been known to take lesser experienced people).

Prior warning is expected if you cannot attend a raid. We understand real life sometimes causes absences, but habitually missing raids leads to the substitute list until you have re-established your reliability.

You MUST know your Spec! This means staying up-to-date on strategy and current theory-crafting regarding stats, play style, raid mechanics, and BIS gear.

You must come to raids prepared. This means Ventrilo (with mic) and potions for double-potting. We typically provide feasts, but you should also have back-ups with you, just in case.

RAID SCHEDULE

25m: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm PST

10m: (Late Night Raider group) - Monday to Thursday, 10:15 PM to 1 AM PST, during progression we will be raiding Sunday's and going till 2 AM.

Weekend alt 10 man: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6 pm to 9 pm PST

25m uses a Loot Council (officers and class representatives). Priority is Main Spec(s). Off-Spec(s) are 2nd priority. If Alts are used to meet the needs of the raid, they are last priority.

10m uses a Loot council/roll system. Typically, Mains take priority over Alts (but this is something that can be worked out among the group).
