About Us
Emergence was created Spring of 2014 when some long time raiders came back to the game and wanted to create an environment reminiscent of what they knew in prior expansions. While we all got a late start on raiding in MoP, we progressed through flex all the up to heroic (now known as Mythic) ending up clearing through Heroic Garrosh.
Since Warlords hit, we’ve gone through the ups and downs that most guilds have experienced but the core group of officers and members have been committed to building something that can last through the doldrums of the expansions.
While we are primarily a raiding guild, we try to foster outside activities other than raiding for the members that want them. The primary focus behind this guild is to promote camaraderie among our guild members. While skill can be taught and gear can be obtained, personality is a more important factor in what we look for in members. To put it simply, we would rather wipe with people we like than progress with people we don’t like. That being said, we still have expectations for all of our raiders that want to be a part of our Mythic group going into Legion.
Expectations
Attendance: We expect people to show up for raid on time and ready. We expect attendance rate of 90% for Mythic runs. While we understand real life issues happen, we have a very limited time each week to progress as far as we can. As such, we ask that our raiders respect each others time and commitment.
Attitude: As previously mentioned, we don’t look at gear or experience for our prospective members as all of that can be either obtained or taught. Having compatible personalities is the key to forming a cohesive raid group. If you don’t have experience or gear, we expect you to do the legwork to get up to speed with the current group. While we will be more than happy to help, we aren’t in the business of holding your hand. We have that same principle with all raiders, while we will help gear you up, teach you new specs, boss strategies, etc. we expect that you are also working to better yourself as well.

Trials: Trials exist for the guild and for the recruit. We want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the guild but that the guild is also a good fit for you. Trials will usually last about two weeks but can be extended if needed.
