DOM is looking for new members to strengthen its 25-man roster. If you are looking for a new guild to raid with, please read on for more information.

- DOM has been around since late 2005. Many of our members have been active within DOM for over 3 years, and some of our founders are still officers. We are looking for players who are interested in participating for the long term.

- DOM is semi-hardcore raiding guild. We expect players to perform well in their role and with focus during raid events, and to be prepared with strategy knowledge and consumables at every raid. We are not a bleeding edge guild: our 25-man team is 3/12 ICC HM, and our 10-man team is 9/12 ICC HM. (Yes, I know this is lolmonthsbehind.) If you expect to be farming hardmodes, getting server firsts, and competing for the top 3 --- spots, then you will not enjoy being a member of DOM. If you enjoy learning encounters, progressing a little more each week, working out strategies that best fit our group, and helping teammates overcome weaknesses then you will be more likely to enjoy your time here. - We recognize that you can't go far in raiding without caring about loot, but loot whorism will not be tolerated. Get used to passing to lesser geared players if that's what it takes to improve the entire raid team's performance. Loot is distributed via random /roll, generally one "need" per night.

- DOM places a high importance on members' RL. There is no participation requirement to maintain member status, and the occasional disconnect / baby aggro / offline for a few weeks during finals / etc., is not a big deal. Chronic disconnects / afks affect raid progress and will result in losing your spot.

- Maturity is a key part of being a member of DOM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. We have members from a very wide range of demographics, and all members are expected to respect that. Homophobic, racist, or misogynistic speech is not tolerated and is a swift route to the door. Locker room talk belongs in the locker room, not in gchat, and if you wouldn't say it to your grandma, you probably shouldn't say it to me.

- Community is a key part of being a member of DOM, and applicants who are able to frequent our very active message forums will fit in best. If you think that being on forums is a waste of time because you could be online grinding rep, you won't enjoy being in DOM. Visit the forums (link below) to get a sense of how busy they are. Strategies, guild planning, and off-topic discussions are all active topics on the message forums, and are an important part of the DOM experience.

- Further, all applicants must observe our 6 maxims:
--- Treat fellow guild members equally, regardless of level, rank, or age, with respect and dignity, maintaining a good sense of humor and keeping an open mind.
--- Respect guild members commitment and involvement to their real family, friends, pastimes, jobs, and lives.
--- Conduct oneself with maturity to bring respect and honor for our guild in the eyes of the larger community.
--- Balance the good of the guild with the good of the character, and recognize that by benefiting the guild, you benefit all its members including yourself.
--- Ensure that all new recruits selected will observe the above guidelines.
--- Remember that it's just a game!
