What is Infamous With Style?

Infamous with Style is a guild formed over 7 years ago on The Forgotten Coast Server. We were on TFC for a little over a year before we decided to transfer over to the Darkspear server. We were a horde guild back then and raided on Darkspear for something like 4 years. We were very competitive with the other top raiding guilds on Darkspear and got some server firsts along the way. We were also the top Horde raiding guild for long stretches as well. However after raiding with more of a hardcore raiding schedule(5 nights a week back then), our raiders began to get burnt out and we eventually decided to take a break from raiding and from the game.

2 years have gone by and we have decided to get back into the game for some raiding...this time as Alliance! We are also going to be going with more of a casual friendly raid schedule(3 nights a week).

Overall Goal

Our goal is to remain at the forefront of content while maintaining the close-knit "family" type atmosphere that has sustained our guild for so long.

Monday 6-10 Server Time
Tuesday 6-10 Server Time
Thursday 6-10 Server Time


We would prefer people that can make all 3 raid days consistently. Just because we are going with more of a casual raid schedule doesn't mean we are necessarily looking for players who can only attend one raid a week. If you feel like you are a good player and you can only attend 1-2 raid days a week, or if you're play time is somewhat sporadic feel free to put an app in and we will still look at it just as seriously as someone who can attend all 3 raid days.

Atmosphere

IWS has always been full of a bunch of people who take raiding seriously(or as seriously as you can with a video game : P). We all love to joke, most of the time at our friends' expense, so you have to have some pretty thick skin. If you mess up repeatedly on a boss fight expect to be called out for it. In fact you will probably be reminded of your screw ups months and even years after they happen...in a joking manner of course! You just need to make sure you are able to perform at a high level while maintaining a good sense of humor and you will fit in just fine.

We do not put up with repeat performances that are terrible. Mistakes are made during raiding but falling asleep at the keyboard, excessive afking, and generally wiping the raid are things that we simply cannot accept on a consistent basis.

If your computer isn't up to par and you run at a low fps or lag badly you will be a detriment to the raid. The same thing goes for bad internet issues. If you are constantly disconnecting then you will not be a help to the guild whatsoever and should look elsewhere. There is nothing more frustrating than wiping because key members disconnecting or their computer froze up.
