Current Recruitment Needs
Absolution is looking to bolster its ranks with some 6-7k+ ranged dps. As such, we're always interested in high-quality applicants of any class or spec.
Guild History
Absolution was formed on the 9th of September by 11 players with the goal of creating a raiding environment which strives for excellence with little to no BS. We arrived on Deathwing on the 29th of August to find a new home after we were not satisfied with the pool of players available on Blackwing Lair. Our first option was to join a guild already established on Deathwing. We joined up with Shadow Templars and helped progress them to down Freya, Mimiron, and Vezax (25 man) hardmodes. Upon the release of 10 man heroic ToC we had cleared to Anub'arak with 44 attempts left and were unable to field 10 to down him the rest of the week due to labor day. However, after making no headway into Heroic ToC 25 we decided to roll the dice and form our own guild where we could control the culture of our own guild and progress rapidly.
Raiding Schedule
Absolution raids 25 mans Monday through Thursday from 10:00pm until 2:00am EST. 10 man raids are run after raids or off nights.
Current Progression
See achievements above. Current targets are Algalon 25 and Twin Valk’yrs 25 Heroic.
What We're Looking For
The people who we are looking for have the mentality that they would like to show up to raid where people are accountable for their play with no BS. A raiding guild is more of a sports team not a fun group of people who log on and then log off. Attendance is huge and we are looking for 90%+ attendance. In addition, performing at your best ability and bringing your A game is required as to not waste the time of the other raiders. Other than that we aren't very strict in vent as long as you are able to maintain your quality of play but we'll still keep it a little quiet for semi-difficult bosses. We joke around constantly in vent and the environment is very friendly if you can take a few jokes and colorful language.
