“Averno” WoW Guild

Who are we? <Averno> is a PVE guild on Echo Isles that has a core of raiders who have played with one another for almost two years. We pride ourselves on having zero drama (no /2 and no forum trolling allowed), and taking care of our members to make sure that this video game is actually enjoyable (as a video game should be). We have a very strong guild structure, we have our set rules/laws in place and everyone from our rookies to our GM's are held to the same accountable standards.

How the guild is ran? We have a completely unique Two-GM system that divides the power and prohibits the classic WOW melt downs that can occur. This has been our system for the last year and has worked out better than we could have expected. We have officers that make day to day decisions, help with raid preparation and recruitment while our GM’s handle the most important decisions. Every single member of our guild, from those who have just joined (rookies), to our most loyal raiders and officers are treated with respect and taken care of.

With that said? <Averno> promotes the highest levels of assclowness, inappropriate behavior, racial/sexual comedy, and completely politically incorrect bashing at one anothers expense. Though our joking around never crosses the border of being malicious or disrespectful, you must be thick skinned in <Averno>. Our vent is a collage of music, bad jokes, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force soundbytes, and at times drunken rampages from our male and yes female members. This is a GAME, this is not a second job, we raid no more than the predetermined times, and though when we are pushing progression content we can be very hardcore, we like to think of ourselves as a casual/hardcore guild that knows how to have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Raid Times? 6-9 Server (PST), Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday (though we do switch the Sunday raid at times to Thursday though Thursday is usually reserved for 10 man regular/hard modes). Yes this is a very short raid schedule, so we make sure we move efficiently through the current content. To be looked at for entrance you must be able to, at a MINIMUM make 80% of raids and maintain that 80% attendance. We understand IRL happens, and it can suck, so as long as you give an officer a heads up on what is going on we will work with you to make sure that a video game isn’t coming into conflict of a relative’s funeral, girlfriend/boyfriend/transsexualfriend’s period, or watching 24 on Monday nights (fail).

Who are we looking for? We are looking for mature, adult members and will not put up with substandard or half-ass applications. Though gear really means little to us due to the simplicity of the content we expect you to be at least decently geared (proper enchants and gems always show if a player knows what they are doing/are any good), HOWEVER <Averno> always believes Skill/Personality >>>> Gear any day. We come from a Vanilla WOW/Burning Crusade mentality where very good players were simply screwed out of gear because they could not get into top end raiding guilds.

***Tank- Looking for full time tanks. No bench warmers.

***Caster- SHADOW PRIEST, Ele Shaman.

***Melee- Rogue, DK.

***Heals- All classes may apply.

***We always review every application thoroughly, and though your class may not be listed here that does not lessen a shot at joining.
