“Varsity” WoW Guild

Varsity is a standard end-game raiding guild. We run a 4-day raid schedule, Sunday through Wednesday from 8pm until 12am Eastern. We are very particular about who we give the chance to raid with us and scrutinize their performance during their trial period closely.

On average we give trials to less than 5% of applicants, but if you know you're an exceptional player don't let that discourage you. We run a loot-council that has so far remained drama-free.

The social atmosphere of the guild is very laid-back. If you're looking for a raid guild that's run like a business in a strict, humorless fashion, then look elsewhere. We don't mind fucking around making stupid jokes or any of that shit, but don't let it fuck with your raid performance.

People yell on vent, profanity and racial slurs are thrown around loosely. Sarcasm and fucking with each other is a cornerstone of how we get along. It's important to have a thick skin but remember that all the trash talk is done with no real malice behind it (usually).

You MUST know the mechanics of your class. Yes, yes, we know, every random pubbie retard *thinks* they know their class. If you study your class theorycrafting, know how to play your key specs, know the why and how of why you are spec'd a certain way and not because Nidaba/Kazanir/Sebudai on EJ listed it as the cookie-cutter, that's what we want. We can almost always spot a downy by their app. If the planets align and lightning strikes the same place twice and you do happen to get in and turn out to be a dumbass, you'll be booted instantly.
