Mutiny is a core group of friends dating back to late 2008 that have mended many wounds, experienced the joys of progression, and in some cases watched each other grow up to become slightly decent human beings.

Now, while that may sound cliquey and possibly discouraging to you, let me tell you it is anything but that. When I first came to Mutiny, we raided under the tag of PrettyPrettyPrincess, back in Burning Crusade. I was the “casual scrub” who knew absolutely no one in the entire raid and to my surprise, was welcomed with open arms and accepted immediately under the wings of those more experienced. Now, 4 years later, here I am trying to get you to join our raid under my lead.

That characteristic is something we as a core have never strayed from and have taken pride in keeping around. As with all guilds we have had our ups and downs, people that just didn’t quite fit in, and others that we’ve shed tears for with their departure and I would have it no other way. To me, and many others, this core (whatever name we may be under) has always remained a family, just instead of sharing stories about our day at work at the dinner table, we sit in front of a computer and kick some virtual dragon ***.

Through our times we have went through many leaders, guild names, expansions, and raids. Some of you may remember us as PrettyPrettyPrincess, some of you may remember us as Mutiny, others may not know of us at all, and that is what we’d like to change within the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

Our achievements as a raid include:
Killed Vashj and Kael before attunements lifted in BC
Every guild member acquired Zul’Aman War Bears
Server First 25 man Algalon
Consistent top 5 ranking on Feathermoon through all of Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King while remaining on a 12 hour per week schedule and having fun while doing so
Naxxramas Immortal (25 man)
Completion of Glory of the Raider (25 man) within the patch it was released
Completion of Glory of the Ulduar Raider (25 man) within the patch it was released
A Tribute to Mad Skill (25 man)

You’re probably thinking, “Wow, you guys didn’t do CRAP in Cataclysm, what have you done for me lately?” To that I’d say, you’re 100% correct, and that is what we are looking to change. Cataclysm has taken the biggest toll on us as a raid and as a family. Those of us that remain are unhappy with how we performed, regardless of our reasons for doing so. With a 10 month break from raiding we haven’t got much of a leg to stand on from Cataclysm achievements. However, we’ve found new light and a new hope to climb that ladder and get back to what we once were as a guild and as friends.

Our philosophy of raiding is that happy raiders perform better than people that are raiding as if it is a (second) job. The number one focus through our entire history of raiding is to just have fun with it, and it has worked in the past -- there is no reason to change that now. I look to keep that goal the same. I am not here to recruit you to join the best guild on the server, I am here to invite you to our family and to kick *** together.
