Meridian is a guild, on the Garithos server (PvP-cst), of
experienced players from Vanilla, TBC and now WotLK. Our players
have a desire to not only compete with guilds on our server, but
also those around the world. We look for like minded individuals
who have a drive for endgame progression. When we're not raiding
you may find Meridian players doing a few bg's or arena teams,
running heroics, farming, playing alts, etc. We're a pretty active
bunch so we look for the same out of our potential recruits.
Our main raid nights are generally Sunday-Thursday. We start invites around 6:30pm cst in order to start around 7pm cst. Our raids normally end around 11:30am cst, but on progression nights, where things are going well, we may ask our raiders to stay longer to get a kill.
Our loot is decided by a modified zero-sum DKP system, which operates along the same lines as many guilds in WoW. As far as an applicant's gear, we would expect you to have 25 man tier 8 or equivalent or better.
Being that we are a guild focused on endgame raiding and competing against all the other guilds in wow, there are a few things we expect from our recruits and raiders who are serious about that same goal. Consumables give an huge boost to a group of players trying to learn and take down a boss, which means we expect our raiders to use them. Other things such as Ventrillo, a few raiding mods, and the ability to listen and follow directions go without saying.
The more information you can give us about you, the better. A well thought out application is the best way for you to be taken seriosuly. Taking the time to tell us who you are, what you are about, how you heard about us, and how you meet our requirements along with an idea of how well you know your class, what your experience is, and when your play times are is the best way to grab our attention.
All applications are confidential and are only viewible by current guild members in a private section of our site.
All application updates are sent to you via email, so check your spam folder and inbox often! If you need to reply to a question, set up a vent time, etc, please PM, not email, the officer who is handling your application in our forums section.
