“The Afflicted” WoW Guild

<The Afflicted>, since August 2005!

We've almost always been top horde guild on US-Greymane (CST/PVE) & expect to always be.

We're an officer council of five & a loot council. We award loot based on whom the item is most beneficial for, performance, reliability & number of loots. We've had recruits jaded from negative experiences in the past with this system that come to appreciate its fairness here with us.

Our progression style is achievements, hardmodes & tributes.

Raid Schedule
Sunday - Thursday
7:00 PM - 11:00 PM (CST)

We may be reducing our schedule to 4 days soon.

Our ToC/ToGC10 schedule varies-- typically 2 groups, one late night, one weekend.
We're currently looking into running an alt ToC/ToGC 25 as well.

These days, Alg25 & Ony25 are filler. Done weekly in our spare time.
Oldworld raiding, Uld & 'Altduar' are done based upon interest.
Although we plan on knocking out Yogg0 in the near future.

Requirements:
- hardcore raider*
- are of a similar level of progression
- play one or more class/spec proficiently
- can make the aforementioned raid schedule

* As a hardcore raider, we expect you to:
- enjoy raiding, theorycrafting & playing your class
- have a stable connection & home environment
- possess thorough knowledge of your class
- be able to handle constructive criticism
- have extensive raiding experience
- be able to follow the strategies
- come to raids fully prepared
- play nice with others
- not suck.

We aspire to treat our raiders with as much fairness, generosity & respect as humanly possible.
If you're the hardcore raider as described above, you'll be happy here, we'll be happy with you,
& there will be cake & progress.
