Thanks for your interest in Cold. First of all, to answer your question: yes, we are recruiting. In fact, we are always looking to recruit the most talented and dedicated players that this game has to offer. We have a very simple philosophy here: you don't need to give up your life to be successful; we have an extremely short raid schedule and are built on members showing up and playing at a high level. If this sounds like the kind of guild that you belong in, we are eagerly waiting for your application.
We fully expect our applicants and trials to meet our standards and eventually help us reach our goals as a member of the guild. Before applying, please make sure you meet all of our requirements....

Checklist Before Applying:
You must be able to make our raid schedule:
-Tuesday 10 - 2 EST
-Wednesday 10 - 2 EST
-Thursday 10 - 2 EST
On occasion raids may go longer. During progression we may include a raid Monday as well.

You must be:
-Very proficient and knowledgeable with your class, as well as WoW in general.
-A "min-max" type of player who is willing to go the extra mile for even the slightest advantage.
-Able and willing to motivate yourself to learn and master the latest and most challenging encounters.
-Willing to respect and adhere to the guild's rules, policies and methods, as well as our officers' requests.
-Able to take even the harshest of criticism with stride and learn to improve from it.
-A team player. A guild-first attitude is important. Lootw*@!#s, troublemakers and whiners need not apply.
-A very sociable person with a good sense of humor who is fun to play with and easy to work with.

Our application is not only your first impression, but your first test of competence towards our guild standards. If you are only going to spend 10 minutes on your app, then please save yourself and us some time and do not bother writing it at all.

Final things to remember:
We are a raiding guild. Your gear, attitude, and spec should reflect that.
You are expected to be able to handle constructive criticism.
You are expected to have and use Omen, a boss mod such as Deadly Boss Mods, and any essential class mod such as Pally Power.

Reliability: The internet is a harsh, cold wasteland of anonymity. We're looking for players who are honest, responsible, reliable and trustworthy. The ideal applicant is a good person that doesn't use the internet as an excuse to be an !*@%#@@. They always let us know when they're going to miss a raid night, and they're always honest with the guild as a whole.

Remember, we will go through every completed application so you do not need to contact us asking if we have seen it. Typically this process will take 3-4 days but could require additional time.
