“Keepers of the Faith” Guild

Hello, I am from Keepers of the Faith. We are the top guild on the server US – Hellscream. We are currently recruiting skilled dps, healers, and a prot paladin for 25mans. We are largely interested in a player which has a strong desire to learn and improve themselves. These qualities mean much more to us than a person in great gear but is unable to adapt to new fights, is unreliable or cannot take criticism. Every player is constantly learning and improving so you will always need the ability to listen and learn. Having said that, we reaching a point where some requirements of gear are needed. The minimum requirement of experience is 2-3/13 heroic with near 358-360. This is fairly generous considering our current progression. Requirements will change periodically depending on our demand.

If you're an exceptional player and are serious about raiding, KoTF may be the guild for you. We take pride in the fun and successful raiding environment we provide to our raiders. Most of the guild enjoys raiding, but we are also serious about getting progression done and do not wish to waste your time or ours. Having an open mind, being able to take constructive criticism, and the motivation to down new bosses are exceptional qualities to bring to our guild.

*Even if we do not recruit your spec or class at any given time you are free to app. If you are a well rounded player and can compete with raiders we currently have then you deserve a spot and will likely receive it unless other problems occur.

Raid times are as follows:

Sunday 7:00-11:00 (CST)
Tuesday 7:00-11:00 (CST)
Wednesday 7:00-11:00 (CST)
Thursday 7:00-11:00 (CST)

*Mondays may pop up occasionally if we feel the need to complete a boss before a reset. That being said, our schedule will not fluctuate without giving our raiders the information ahead of time so they can shift around their own priorities.

Once progression is over many raid weeks are shortened and tend to be 1-2 day clears. Loot is done via an EPGP system. This is a system which combines Effort Points (EP) and Gear Points (GP). This system is chosen because it puts a large emphasis on your performance as well as your attendance. There is also a decay component so not taking upgrades will not only hurt your overall chance at gear, but it will also put a bad image on yourself and your desires to complete future bosses.

Applications most likely to see a trial:

-know their class inside and out (main and off spec)
-are able to maintain an 95+% attendance ratio (barring the occasional emergency)
-show up prepared for the entire night (spec, consumables and most importantly, yourself)
-read up on the fights that we are scheduled to attempt and be able to help discuss strategies
-execute the strategies given and be able to adapt to new situations if they occur
-are competitive and show the ability to compete in parses/logs
-be motivated/goal orientated and want to complete all current content

When you apply, know that this is your first and sometimes your only impression, so make it a detailed one. Another important thing to include is a recent parse (via World of Logs or Wow Meters Online, some equivalent source) that showcases your performance. A screenshot of your UI is also a definite plus.
