About us:
The guild Honor has existed since approximately June of 2005. We are an older guild who were most active during the days of 40 man raiding at level 60. During that time we had successfully cleared all of Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, most of AQ40, and a partial clear of Naxxramas.

The majority of our core members are those we raided with 5 years ago, as well as a few new recruits of people that we knew back then who were in guilds such as Angry, Permafrost, Team Ice, etc and have decided to join us in Honor for this expansion. We're all good friends and know each other well.

We consider ourselves to be a "semi-hardcore" guild, in that we have casual attitudes but still take progression seriously. We also only currently raid 3 nights a week, which is far less time spent than when we really considered ourselves to be "hardcore".

We also have many members who enjoy PVPing in Battlegrounds and the Arena. Starting up a Rated Battleground team is also something on our to-do list.

Progression:
After we had seen most of what the game had to offer, many of us had parted ways, and the guild became inactive for many years. However we have just recently gotten back together specifically for Cataclysm, and began taking raiding seriously again towards the end of February. This leaves us playing catchup during the first tier of this expansion, which we accept as a worthy challenge.

What we expect:
Our guild places a priority on the person above the character itself. Honor has always kept raids interesting and entertaining by adopting the mindset of a bunch of friends just hanging out rather than treating the game like a job.

This is something that we intend to keep, which is why it's important that the personality of an applicant meshes well with the rest of the current group.

That said however, we are still a progression guild. We realize that it's possible to still be friends with someone that you don't even raid with, so if a person is unable to perform the duties of their class up to a reasonable expectation then then they will have to be removed from the core lineup in the interest of progression.

    Qualities we look for:
    • The ability to take a joke. We're a sarcastic bunch, and fancy ourselves comedians.
    • Capable of listening to and following simple instructions.
    • Solid raid attendance. Currently there are no penalties for missing a raid, however priority raid positions will always be given to those who have proven themselves reliable.
    • Someone who is able to take constructive criticism.
    • Capable of raiding on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8:00 PM server time.

If you fit those above standards, you should fit right in.

Recruitment:As of this moment there is no need for any specific class but exceptional players are always needed.

If you have an interest in joining us and killing some virtual dragons please get in touch with either Kallus, Jackace, Jackshephard or Darkcas. You can app on our forum as well. We look forward to hearing from you.
