ABOUT US:

Instability was initially formed on Altar of Storms by a group of friends who were looking for a focused raiding guild. In TBC, we managed to kill M’uru pre-nerf, and in WoTLK, we cleared all raid instances within the beginning of the first week expansion release.

We transferred to Kel’Thuzad shortly after the release of WoTLK due to a lack of competent players on our relatively small server.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a relaxed, albeit focused raiding environment. We joke in vent, we give each other a hard time, but when push comes to shove, we’re all constructively criticizing each other, or working on strategies that work for us.

Aside from raiding, many of our members are active PvPers. At last count, we had approximately 15-16 Gladiators, and a few Rank 1 title holders. We value well –rounded players who are active outside of the PvE scene!

OUR SCHEDULE & LOOT INFORMATION:

Instability raids Sunday-Wednesday, 7:45 PM – 12:00 AM (EST). We expect raiders to be at the designated instance’s entrance on time, with consumables.

We use a fair Loot Council system to distribute purples. We don't play favorites. Things are that are looked at when we determine loot: Attendance, performance, and attitude.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN POTENTIAL RECRUITS:

1. Desire: You have to WANT to be here. You don’t wait for raid leaders to go through strategies 30 seconds before we pull the boss. You read strategies, and you watch videos. If you see someone messing up, you help them.

2. Reliability: You’re here almost every night. We understand RL happens, and we won’t fault you for it. No one in Instability places WoW above RL. That being said, we want players who are able to attend atleast 90% of our raids.

3. Attitude: We DO NOT want drama-queens, loot whores (yes, we’ll know when you’re only in it for the purples), or whiners. We min/max our raid depending on how we’re going to tackle a boss. If you can’t handle being benched for a certain encounter, we don’t want you. As a side note concerning attitude, you must be able to handle jokes. As aforementioned, we like to give each other a hard time. If this bothers you, don’t apply!

4. Experience: We want players who have already learned boss fights, and know the mechanics. We can’t have you fall behind, or worse, cause wipes because you don’t know how a certain encounter works. We want someone who can seamlessly adapt to unexpected changes in raids.

5. Gear: Let’s face it; in the current state of the game, gear is fairly easy to come by. Your gear shows us your knowledge of your class, and your desire to improve your performance.
