BACKGROUND
The IRON guild of Kil'Jaeden is the primary focus of the IGC (Iron Gaming Community) which has existed since its creation in May of 1999. The history of this group predates World of Warcaft and has been a highly competitive force in several massively multiplayer games. The core of IRON is comprised of players with an incredible amount of gaming experience, many of whom work in the industry and bring an informed perspective to our strategies. IRON began its World of Warcraft experience early in the beta and has been active on Kil'Jaeden since the servers came online in 2004. With the continual improvements Blizzard has been making to this amazing game we see no end to our career here and look forward to moving up the charts for several expansions to come.
GOAL
The aim of IRON is somewhat different than that of your typical hardcore guild. Like many ambitious guilds we are not happy with simply being good and strive to eventually be the best. To achieve this we look at the long term solutions rather than the quick fix. Our goal is to build a strong, resilient community of players that know that their online gaming is a passion and not simply a temporary distraction from life. We seek a mature, accountable membership capable of balancing real life responsibilities with the demanding schedule of a hardcore gaming group. We look for working adults with a stable atmosphere and clear perspective of what they want from the game. In doing this we hope to continue building on our solid foundation a membership that will be here for years to come.
RECRUITMENT
Currently IRON runs 3 raid groups, the strongest of which clears all content. Many top guilds have begun to move to this sort of design because it ensures flexibility and a much higher influx of gear. Due to this structure, we are able to support a much larger roster than most guilds. The extra raids also allow us to more easily try out new members, so we encourage players of any class and spec to apply and prove to us they deserve to be here.
If this is the type of environment you've been looking for, please read the information and application guildelines at our website and send an application to IRONAP@GMAIL.COM including any information you think we need to know. After sending an application, if you would like to follow up feel free to contact us in game on off raid hours. IRON is a west coast guild that raids from 700-1130 (mon-tue-wed-thu). The majority of our members live in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California.
