What is Novus Initium?
Novus Initium is a raiding guild that is selective in both recruitment and whom is retained, discriminating on a player's ability and their chemistry with the guild as a whole. We are a team-first guild and all members are required to uphold that ideal.

Raiding Schedule
Currently the official raiding days are:
Sunday 7:30-10:30CST
Monday 7:30-10:30CST
Thursday 7:30-10:30CST

What is expected of me?
Above all, we strive for adult-minded, intelligent players who enjoy camaraderie and friendship. We expect you to be functionally sociable, friendly, easy-going and respectful of others.

You must be excited about raiding and progressing into the content. You must be typically available for our raid times, and attend as frequently as you are able. There are 3 official raid times per week. Alt runs and achievement runs, etc., are often scheduled as well, but these are not required attendance.

You are welcome to have your alts in the guild, but we ask you pick your favorite toon for end game raiding and put the majority of your effort into improving that character. You will be expected to only bring your main to an "official" raid except under extenuating circumstances.

Regarding drama... if you have a problem with someone, talk to that person one on one and work it out like two adults. If that doesnt work, consult with an officer and if that still doesnt help, consult with the GM. Just be advised that we feel drama is a real guild-killer. If your problems get to this point, you're probably bringing more drama into the guild than you're worth and one or both of you will likely be removed from the guild. We have to look out for the needs of the many.

You must commit to become a good ambassador for the guild. That means you should refrain from acting in a manner that would embarrass us or yourself, blatantly antagonizing or offending your fellow WoW players or other anti-social behavior in trade chat, PuGs or any other interaction with the Kul Tiras population. For a guild to be healthy new players must be recruited from time to time, and having a good reputation on the server is paramount to success in these endeavors.

Participation on the forums is mandatory for all raiding members of the guild. You are required to log in at least weekly to read up on guild happenings and to post your status should you be unavailable for official raids. Lurking is fine if you do not have anything to contribute, but your suggestions, opinions and humor will always be welcomed. Failure to check the forums regularly may lead to demotion or being moved to the bottom of the loot list.
